Sannin can beat any Akatsuki pair

Itachi/Kisame is questionable for the difficultly. Itachi likes to finish fight as fast as possibly.

What are you taking about. In the show when itachi and kisame are plotting to take naruto itachi is not sure about confronting jiraiya because he said if they fought him they would all die. So there you have it. You just learned yourselves some facts. :scorps:

Yo he said AT THE SAME TIME -- those were separate events - plus jman's back was turned AND he was missing an arm and he could've gotten away if he so chose to. He lost for lack of information and for wanting to get information. As for the ridiculous strength of kakuzu...seriously?? tsunade strength is way greater or at the minimum on par with kakuzu...its one thing to put forward the points of them but don't forget their abilities either. As for chibaku tensei....powerful attacks to its centre destroys it...not that they might know this but i'm pretty sure they could use an attack powerful enough to do damage...still I understand your points but I can see it very possible for the sannin to beat the following people...
kakuzu - sage jiraiya alone could solo him...think about it. -- frogs -- giant rasengans - i can't see kakuzu eating one of those and having a good day - hidan (like the character...but a joke in my opinion - dicapitated and fight's over) - deidara would be a very hard fight without lightning - his C4 lethal - tobi would be problems, however if they work together closely they can time the interval and take tobi out - kisame is ridiculously dangerous as people forget his sword drains chakra from tailed beasts...much less a person. Well as for itachi...we all know 1 vs 1 would be a KO but a combo would make it possible in my books - sasori is interesting in that its all in who gets who first...if either one of the sanin get close enough to him he's dead - if he gets them first they're dead...having said that oro would beat the snot out of him as his main offense of poison has no effect on him (prob. why he hated his guts in the first place lol) - Konan would be a corpse - jman has proven this - easily subduing her with low difficulty...The almighty pain would be a tough rough grimy-atleast-one-of-them-dying-battle...and I cannot with 100% certainty say they could survive it...

also poison spreads from old currupted cells to new cells and destroys them as well... tsunade would be able to stay alive for a longer time but would eventually need to use an anti serum to get rid of the poison... and even with staying alive for a long time it would still have some effect over her, not sure if it would be debilitating, but it would be detrimental...imo

If when you say sannin oro is included then this point is invalid as he is immune to sasori's poison. I think that's why sasori prob. hated him - I don't think oro ever respected him as a threat since his poisons (his primary weapon) is useless against him.
As you said however the effect on tsunade would be debilitating...but I think she would be able to resist the poison and still fight for a while...but for a while

It's quite plain he's just ****ing around with you guys, nobody is this stupid. Anyway, I agree that they could probably take out almost any Akatsuki pairing with the possible except of Pain and Konan and Itachi and Kisame.

Tobi could possibly solo, but we have to remember that if Kabuto can cancel Edo at any time, and the Jinchuuriki go with it, then he's deprived of a powerful but unreliable weapon.

i think that is all the combo's they used...

sasori/deidera, if they actually fight as a team and not 1v2 ppl far away from each other can actually wreck most cominations of shinobi in the naruto universe

kisame/itachi, same explaination as sasori/deidera combo, and just to emphesize how powerful sasori/deidera would be together i believe they can wreck this team, but the sanin wont be able to keep up with kisame/itachi's rediculous attacks

pain/konan, using the six paths of pain can actually wreck the sanin pretty easily

tobi/deidera, im more guessing that sanin would lose to these two based on the fact tobi is suppose to be all powerfull, give this one either way actually

kakuzu/hidan, the sanin would rape these two quite quickly

these prediction are based on oro not being able to use impure world resurection

i dont think they would be able to take on any of the akatsuki. the akatsuki are just to powerful.

They could beat sasori and deidara. Sasori was beat by Sakura and Chiyo and Deidara committed suicide...

Are you people kidding me? Okay, Orochimaru and Tsunade are indeed weaker than Jiraiya, who fought all of Pien/Pein's six paths and dispatched 3 alone in old age. Kisame and Itachi backed down from a fight between Jiraiya. So Itachi and Kisame are out of the question. Jiraiya could solo most of the pairs. With the help of Orochimaru/Tsunade, Pein/Pien and Konan would be a considerably challenging fight but would lose in the end. They aren't sannin for any reason. They earned it and a bunch of missing ninja arent going to defeat them because of a name! Sakura and Chiyo, fairly weak characters took out sasori. C'mon? You guys give Akatsuki too much Credit. Itachi is indeed a very skilled ninja and would dominate many opponents, but he could not take Jiraiya. Most of the Akatsuki were defeated by ninja who aren't too significantly powerful. I forgot something else i was going to say... Oh well. Anywho. "Tobi" and Pein are the only true threats. Maybe Itachi in good health. Oh, Kisame was defeated by Gai, who is a Jounin of the Hidden Leaf. Many ninja are more powerful than Gai.

honestly as the sannin trio at the time of their title being given, they couldnt do a thing against anyone in akatsuki for a couple reasons. 1.Oro is all about fighting until he realizes there is no victory and he would qickly decide to flee. 2. remember that jman always had a thing for tsunade and while he would be strong enough to take many of akatsuki himself, could easily be stricken down while trying to protect her weak ass. All she had was med ninjutsu and power punches which wouldnt do much in the way of beating akatsuki, and to another post, if they didnt have intel then i think hidan and kakuzu could beat them. honestly the only reason why they got beat by shikamarus crew (with naruto and kakashis help at the end) was because they split up more or less. Hidan wanted to kill them all himself, but kakuzu could easily draw blood on the opponents and hidan could then gather it up for his ritual.
