How exactly is Sanji's speed above Zoro's speed?

This has been on my mind for awhile now, but someone please just give me a logical answer to this question?

From the few episodes I've seen I would saw that Sanji is faster because he uses his legs plus you can't be that fast if you've got a blade in your mouth.

Let's see: Sanji only uses his legs, wouldn't it be logical to assume that he would be faster? Zoro's more of a bulky, bodybuilder-type guy. It makes sense for Sanji to be faster, tbh.

I think they are close in speed because I remember them saying that sanji and zoro were faster than fishmen underwater. Not really a concrete example, but it's all I could think of. Sanji probably has faster leg speed but I think zoro's arm movement is on par with sanji's legs.

We actually dont know but it makes sense for Sanji to be faster and zoro to be stronger

Don't know. Zoro gets lost so much that his legs would have a pretty good work out. < Joke.

Sanji would logically be faster due to the fact that he continuously ran for two years basically. It never showed him doing anything other than running.

Logically speaking, Sanji should be faster than Zoro. But Zoro's speed when he executes his lion song his on par with G2 speed

It's strange. If someone can use Geppou, shouldn't they be able to use Soru too?

Shouldn't Sanji be able to use Rankyaku? Since the CP9 can kick so such leg strength and swiftness that they create a blade of air. Zoro's attacks are all mostly based on that, swinging his sword so the swing leaves the blade and continues on its own, from that point on you just need to improvise to get different variations and that's what Zoro does everytime we see a new attack, of course haki plays a part here and there like Asura.

However, bottom line is that Zoro needs swords for his attacks to travel but Sanji who was stronger then the cp9 can't do the rankyaku for some reason which is very strange. If you can't kick that fast you should be weaker but he is not.

So yeah on topic, Sanji is faster, Zoro is fast but his sword-skills is what does the trick, not necessarily at how fast he himself move.
Though he hasn't shown trouble keeping up, don't assume he's faster then Sanji.

Sanji is able to move fast enough to walk on air I think that explains it all

Sanji is the speedster type while Zoro is the endurance/power type. But reaction speed falls into the speed category as well which I lean toward zoro.
