Sanji displayed greater speed, and blitzed vergo twice during the same fight
Better observation haki(being able to sense sunny despite not knowing the location exactly)
Being able to make vergo bleed and spit blood with no use of haki despite the later using tekkai.
Sanji IMO has what it takes to take vergo out

Since Sanji had a tired body and a fractured leg, Vergo would've won.

Sanji was tired and exhausted, he was using 1 leg whereas vergo was using both legs and arms and got sent flying twice plus sanji made him bleed without using haki and vergo was using tekkai
What a original thread lol. Result is the same. Vergo wins between mid and high difficulty. Canonically dominating someone in his area of expertise while not using your own fighting style alongside strong haki and other useful and powerful techniques at your disposal says a lot. Until proven otherwise, Vergo is stronger than Sanji, simple

Wouldn't Sanji be the winner? Since we have yet to see his new abilities from the time skip it is safe to assume that he is still on par with the rest of the monstrous trio. With that being said We have seen zoro beat Pica one on one using purely haki and zoro bested him with ease. Don't you think that the seat holders under Doflamingo are somewhat equal in power? This means that Sanji could beat vergo in a fight even though he is a powerful haki user like Pica.

If Sanji had shown being able to use CoA it would have been a win for him, but with the current feats it's still the same.
Let's hope that Oda finally shows Sanji's development and his true strength.

I agree that with current showing Sanji loses, but the bold is full of shit. Vergo was definitely winning but you're reaching if you think he was dominating Sanji.
The one whose strongest and most important body part was cracked was Sanji. The one who implied it would have gone bad if it continued was Sanji. So yes, Vergo was the one dominating. It wasn't by much but he had the edge
