Sanji wins scenario 2 easier than he dies with scenario 1 assuming he wins that one (Cause surely Hell memories has a large DC but haki wise, he has only shown the ability to block blades, which luffy did as well in a worse position from cracker....who is seemingly much stronger than Judge)

Overall, Sanji should win at the gears individually but definitely not if luffy uses them together in a fight, in one go, in which case it's high diff for luffy.

G2 alone --> Sanji wins fairly comfortably (Sanji has better firepower)
G2 w/ Haki --> Sanji loses with certain difficulty (Luffy has better firepower)

G3 alone --> Sanji wins almost easily (Sanji has far greater speed and almost similar firepower)
G3 w/ Haki --> Sanji wins with certain difficulty (Sanji has far greater speed/ Luffy has better endurance and firepower)

Sanji loses against G2 I don't think he would be able to match G2 speed.

Sanji maybe wins against G3 since G3 is too slow but if Luffy do manage to strike him once then Sanji is in trouble.

Remember when G3 was a more powerful stage than G2. Now it has been reduced to just another tactic. Luffy wins both high diff.

This was never the case. Gear 3 was always something that Luffy used to get in a finishing blow once he's already worn the enemy down or just to deal a massive blow. Gear 2 and 3 were balanced parts of a singular offensive tactic: Wear down the opponent.

Gear 2 and 3 were never something like Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2. It was never "Gear 2 isn't working, I need to use Gear 3," they were both two halves of the same arsenal.

Doflamingo did a good job showing the weaknesses of G2 and G3. I don't think Sanji has the capabilities to tank G2 like Doffy did. But he has the speed to outmaneuver G3.

He would probably take that as long as he doesn't get hit.

He didn't use it this way against lucci. But you kinda hit on the point I was making anyways about it being a powerful finisher. Well I don't think it is even that anymore is what I was getting at. G2 seems to have almost very similar fire power in terms of relative effectiveness against major opponents. Take doffy for example, G2 RedHawks seemed as much as if not more effective than G3 gigantic attacks.
