1- Preskip Law, Kidd, Hawkins and Apoo
2- 10 Pacifistas
3- Underwater drugged Wadatsumi
4- Underwater monster Hodi
5- Smoker
6- Jinbe

He gets 2 heals

How well would he fare in your opinion?

He beats Smoker. He'd probably beat Wadatsumi underwater but that's about it.

It's a gauntlet with 2 heals, so it's better to explain the level of difficulty at each stage and when exactly does he use his 2 heals during the gauntlet to maximize his chances

He stops at monster Hodi. He just can't beat Smoker fresh or not. He will beat monster Hodi with or without his heals.

IMO he loses to Jimbe and probally smoker if he cant use haki. He should be able to beat stage 1 - 3 with no problem. IDK but I feel like underwater hodi would give him a great deal of difficulty.

He can use busoshoku Haki but that won't make a huge difference. Sanji got fodderised by a Vergo who wasn't even using armament hardening (black haki), while Smoker could keep up pretty good with Vergo.

Uh that's not what happened. Sanji kicked Vergo into a wall and damaged him, and Vergo cracked Sanji's leg. It was a brief confrontation that ended with a tie. Sanji only used Diable Jambe for one move and they exchanged a couple kicks. Neither went all out.

Uh that is what happened. Sanji did minimal damage to Vergo by kicking him into the wall. After that Vergo kicked Sanji once and his leg was cracked. The anime showd it like they were pretty equal for a time but the manga clearly shows that one non armament hardening kick was all it took to f*ck Sanji up. Just go reread chapter 680-681.

Except Sanji wasn't ****ed up since he was running just fine afterwards, with no signs of even slight discomfort. They both did minimal damage to each other.

Actually he used it for 2 DJ moves(the second one being a flambage shot). There was no tie. Between a nosebleed and a cracked leg, the one at a disadvantage is the one whose leg got cracked especially when he base his entire fighting style on his legs. Seconds later, we don't even see blood on Vergo anymore because it's something that can be wiped out easily when Sanji himself even admitted if he continued, it was bad for him

Sanji was trying pretty hard while Vergo was warming up lol
Just read the chapters without your Sanji-goggles on and come back. He even said that it would have been bad for him if the fight continued. A little nosbleed that comes from one of his strongest attacks doesn't compare to a cracked leg from a casual non armament kick.

I reread the chapter, and yeah I was wrong about Sanji only using one attack. And being bad for him doesn't necessarily mean he'd lose. Sanji had to worry about the poison gas approaching them, escorting out G5 and Tashigi, catching up to Nami and the kids, then catching up to the other Strawhats. "Bad for him" could have meant anything from beating Vergo but being unable to accomplish those things, to tying with Vergo and being left unable to do those things, to being defeated by Vergo entirely, to being consumed by the gas mid-battle. It can mean a lot, but it's still a good point on your part.

As for the nosebleed vs cracked leg issue, Sanji ran on his leg and continued to use it to fight immediately after. He showed no discomfort for the cracked leg while running, and it wasn't brought up again, just like Vergo's sustained attacks from Sanji weren't brought up again. You also have to take into consideration that Vergo has the same expression all the time. From getting kicked into the wall, to Law's Counter Shock and even the attack that defeated him, Vergo didn't panic and kept the same calm expression. He doesn't show pain or discomfort, so there's really no telling what attacks have truly damaged him, minus Law's final slice, or when he's exerting true effort. It's clear that both parties did minimal damage to each other.

BTW, the manga portrayed them as exchanging blows the same way as the anime.

Okay, the way Sanji said it would be bad pointed out that he would have been beaten by Vergo but that is just an assumption on my part so no mangafact.
But it is true that Sanji's cracked leg was no problem for him afterwards but what about two extra kicks from Vergo? His leg would be broken for sure. That while Vergo didn't use his armament haki on Sanji while he used it on smoker and Smoker could keep up with him for a good amount of time. That's why Smoker is stronger than Sanji IMO.

You can't run with a broken leg, so no, Sanji's leg wasn't broken.
Sanji also kept up with him for a short time until their fight was interrupted. If their fight had continued, it's possible he could have done just as good as Smoker.

Sanji exclaims a "Ugh" = Pain
G5 Fodder notices and asks "did you hurt yourself somewhere?"

And then he thinks to himself that "that was bad...if i had continue that fight"

Those statements were in relationship with each other

They both did damage except the one on Vergo was minimal when the one on Sanji was critical. He base his entire fighting style on his legs for god sake. Yes they continued to exchanges blows after that, but til how long? That's the question in which Sanji implies himself not to be that long

Besides Sanji didn't fight again during the rest of the arc, so how do you know he felt no discomfort?

Ahh good eye catching that. But I still don't think it was critical. Sanji continued running, remember, so it couldn't have been critical damage. But yeah, Vergo did more damage in that fight, you're definitely right about that.
