[Discussion] Sanji or luffy?

Well sanji is only specialized in kicking, so its pretty obvious that he has stronger kicks than luffy

But i just cant see sanji winning from a gear 2 haki kick


What do u think? Who has the stronger kicks?

This is dependent on how strong Sanji's Busoshoku Haki, open to debate. I still think Sanji's kicks > Luffy's G2 kicks, however, Giganto Ono etc. > Sanji's kicks (With Diable Jambe)

I as long as it's just gear second I feel it's a Tie or sanji dj is stronger (leaning towards sanji )with Danni dj tbh now if h add haki obviously fluffy for 2 reasons 1 sanji hasn't shown halo kicks yet tht I know of and luffy has some pretty strong haki
But if bellamy who I feel may either be on same level or weakerr then current sanji can best him then sanji had chance he just needs more screen time of actual fighting rather then just saving ppl from Op characters .... That's all he has done this timeskip


Also I know one piece isn't dbz but gear second is like luffy super sayian form lol but same can b implied with sanji dj/hell memories fire form and zoro asura form no ???

I dont think Sanji's kicks are stronger.
F = Mass x Acceleration

So lets assume that Sanjis Kicks are mass of 3 and his Acceleration will be 1 while Luffys mass will be 2 andd his acceleration will be 3

(I think Luffy's acceleration is understated by alot with this example, but its just and example, also we know for a fact that luffy kicks faster the sanji (jet stamp) so we use sanjis speed as a base for luffy, so in this current example we are saying that luffys kicks are 3x faster then sanjis (which i think is underrated))

So Sanjis F = 3 x 1 = 3
While Luffy's F = 2 x 3 = 6

know we can argue who has more mass and what number should be used for acceleration, but i think luffy is 3-4x faster then sanji atleast and if he goes gear 2 then i think its 6-8x faster then sanji.

In terms of actual strength, i'd say gear3 Luffy kicks > Sanji DJ kicks ~ gear second Luffy kicks > Sanji normal kicks ~ Luffy normal kicks. But Sanji in the end has much more kicking technique with some that could periodically surpass Luffy's kicks in terms of power(like anti-manner kick course)

When has Luffy ever been shown to be faster than Sanji?

Sanji's strength is in his legs -> Speed. If he's not the fastest in the crew then he's as good as dogsh*t and weaker than the Brook etc. which isn't the case. His training for two years was nothing but running, how would he not be the fastest? Your logic defeats all reason

There really isn't much difference between Luffy's kicks or punches, he just makes it up as he goes along, so saying Sanji's kicks are steonger is basically saying that his attacks are stronger than Luffy's

I also believe Luffy is faster than Sanji

Sanji definitely has a better kicking technique but Luffy is the more skilled fighter overall

He was able to move at really high speeds 5000 feet underwater this feat is always overlooked but ppl forget that the water pressure is so deep that it will easily destroy human bodies as well as ships which is why they needed to have huge bubble around the ship... Not only was sanji able to break his bubble he was able to move underwater at extremely high speeds (blue walk) this in its self is both a speed and durability feat.... I'm not saying that it's complelty clear that sanji is faster then luffy cuz it's not but that puts him pretty close ppl act as if luffy is leagues ahead of sanji in terms of speed due to gear second when that is not the case.... They r very close neck and neck and I personally give sanji the edge due to his feat under water

What speed feats do Luffy have that prove he is faster than Sanji (who fights solely through his legs, this directly correlates to speed)

Maybe the fact he can run through the air? Running 5000m under sea level (on par with or surpassing merfolk)

I think Sanji is faster on foot than Luffy but Luffy his striking speed is a lot faster
Just look at the afterimages he creates when doing a gatling against Lucci
