[Discussion] Sanji needs mid and long range attacks

Sanjis attack power may put him into the monster trio, but, he's severly lacking in range and number of attacks! He has no mid or long range attacks and has a few moves. In order to hit someone he has to be withing kicking distance, unlike his colleagues Zoro and Luffy and he has no attack that can take out multiple fodder in an instant!(Luffy can use coquering kings haki etc and Zoro can use tatsumaki(twister) etc). I doubt Sanji can beat Ceaser Clown coz he can't hit him from outside his 'oxygen sucking zone'!, so if Sanji is going to beat an admiral in the future(Kizaru I think) with honour, then this has to stop...U_U

There's no need for every character to get perfect...
Everyone has their own ups and downs...

Luffy is no.1 because he can utilize all types of Haki and has almost mastered his DF...
Zoro is no.2 because he can utilize two types of Haki and is a master swordsman at all ranges...
Sanji is n0.3 because he can utilize two types of Haki and is a master close-combatant...

They have to maintain this gap, IMO it's necessary...

Someone who could really use some offensive diversity is probably Robin before Sanji.

Nah, there was only one DF Sanji was willing to eat (the invisibility one) and that wasn't even for fighting purposes.

Sanji has his own style and I don't think he is in such big disadvantage due to lack of range attacks. He is very fast and has great observation haki so he can quickly approach the enemy and hit a blow.Same way he can avoid attacks.He could fight and defeat Caesar. Lack of oxygen for a few seconds doesn't mean anything,everyone is able to hold their breath for a while.With his speed and CoO he could hit Caesar without falling into his trap.
Also, he is able to take out many people with a single move (party table.or something like that).
I don't think Sanji having a long range attack will put him on par with Zoro or Luffy.

Well with "Poêle à Frire: Spectre" I think Oda is working him up to ranged attacks and him mastering 2 rokushiki like techniques cld b foreshadow of him getting his own attacks that are similar to those used by CP9 so that flaming rankyaku cld b some chaptets away. t
Then there are those techniques Iva used e.g the "no44 laser surgery" tech, I think Sanji has learnt them and will use them in his own way coz I dont think Kuma just sent him to that hell for him to just run around, there was a lot of thought on were to senf each SH.

Well, he has the poele a Frire spectre, and it will be clearer on who is stronger than who after the dressrosa arc.

When all of the strawhats get to go all out in battle, we might have a "monster 4"

Hells memories might have long range attacks due to the manor the flames spread when Sanji kicked Wadatsumi. He could also learn Rankyaku and infuse flames into those kicks.

It's a possibility. But until Kano is more than simply mentioned and is actually foreshadowed to be a location of a future arc it seems less likely than likely that the Strawhats will visit Kano.

I wanna see Sanji do a variant of Sky Walk where he kicks the air so hard, it sends a bast of air pressure at the opponent. Do it with Diable Jambe, a mass of hot air hits the opponent, and it could do massive damage.
