There is a flashback in Ch. 481 that shows Tobirama appointing Hiruzen the title of Hokage. In the flashback Hiruzen looks quite young, smooth face, short... whatever that shit is under his eyes.

I believe everytime I've seen Hiruzen as the Sannin's sensei he has looked older than he did in Ch. 481. Facial hair, longer eye thingy-ma-jigs.

So I'm wondering, was Hiruzen in charge of the Sannin's team while he was the Hokage!?

Wondering if it would be possible for some future Hokage to take on a team at the same time...I guess you could also link it to a popular topic to date, which would be, was Yondaime the Hokage & Team Minato leader at the same time. Is it true, just a mistake or am I missing something? Curious as to people's thoughts, theories, etc.

Minato was appointed Hokage after he was Team Leader and Obito was crushed by a rock. He was not Hokage and the team leader at the same time. When talking to his team he said 'Kakashi will be made a Jounin, like me." If her were a Kage then he would not have said "like me."I think the Kage face during the flashback in 599 was a mistake by Kishi. I mean, he's only human.
