Sand: Sand is a Kekkei Genkai formed so as to be able to control sand like Shukaku. It is mostly used by Sunagakure shinobis. The most known user being Gaara. Gaara can control any sand but also keeps chakra infused sand in a gourd he keeps behind him. This chakra makes the sand faster
Since Sand contains minerals of different kinds, it can withstand strong attacks. Sand can be used to exert influence over other people

Weakness/strength:Though sand is strong,it also have weaknesses like Deidera inserting explosive clay in the manga, Gold dust and oil.
Sand is strong over fire release. It is the only thing even amaterasu(highest level of fire release has been yet to burn through)
Users of Sand in Naruto include Gaara, 3rd Kazekage(iron sand)
Combination: add wind and get dust release

Only Gaara can use sand. Sunagakure shinobi's often use it because of them using wind, which will automatically combine with sand, causing it to create a sand/wind technique, or a simple sand storm. And, dust release is created by Wind, Fire and Earth. Sand is also highly weak against water.

Perform:First, I focus my chakra... And when I had focused enough, I transfer it to the sand on the field and made a third eye out of the sand. I cover one of my eyes and constantly supplying it chakra, I see through this eye.

Limitation: You have to cover an eye and also, byakugan can see the chakra connection and also too visible.
Counter:By using Doton hiding like a mole, the eye won't see you and you surprise the open user.

Good. Remember that you're Gaara (obviously) so the second technique is the most common to that character, so use it often. It's a good technique to protect you against tools and projectiles and small or weak technique's, the technique is also handy to assist you while getting attacked by making a slight sand snake that can be used to assist you to a certain location (upwards, to the right or left or to the front)

Good, but not good enough. As you said, while the opponent get's lift into the air you should use a strong technique that descends down upon your opponent, so the moment that he/she is in the air, you should have already planned something like dropping lid or as you said; the lightning technique. Remember that once your opponent is into the air he would be off balance thus unable to regain balance unless he uses a technique or tools or w/e, so take the advantage.

Next is C-Rank, put some more effort, go deeper into the technique's (use wikia, but don't copy paste);

(Suna Bunshin) - Sand Clone

Description: The user creates upto two clones made of sand. The clones are easily distinguishable from the user because of their brown colour. The clones can catch objects or attacking shinobi within themselves and trap them letting Gaara attack with ease. Even when hit with physical techniques, the clones reform.
Note: Clone costs 10 chakra to reappear again.

This is a very handy technique. If you use Gaara, then make sure to be in a desert or to have an advantage create the battle field into a desert. It's takes much more time to shape earth into sand so take it into your advantage by as I said. The clone thing, it doesn't matter what it'll re-shape. The only thing that'll destroy it is either lightning or water. High ranked fire too since it'll make it change into glass, unable to shape the sand anymore. So make sure, to use this in a handy and the most important thing is in a thoughtful manner.

You seriously gotta put a little more effort man.

Anyway, the first technique is handy. Use it as an sneak attack to sneak upon your opponent, let the stream grab your opponents leg to make him fall or strangle your opponent by causing the stream to sneak up on his neck and such to lift him into the air; high enough that he will struggle and gasp for breath. The second one is quite handy too, use a wind technique in adjustment to make it faster or in this case cause the sand to combine with the wind making a sandstorm with hidden sand kunai's. Keep thinking trough technique's, watch the anime or the manga of Gaara being in action the pick up some combinations or how to use a certain technique. Be creative and let your mind free by the usage of your fingertips, hence being a part of the community; the RPG.

You can actually combine it. Use a wind technique to let the sand spread faster unbeknownst to your opponent. And there are many ways to deflect this technique by using a simple water technique even if it's stuck on your opponent. Alright. Do you reply trough your phone or just laptop because it's quite confusing the way you fill the template. And be creative, there are always ways to combine something or counter against a certain technique.

Brief description of how you perform the
technique:I focus my chakra long and hard, i then release my chakra into the sand and I change the crushing the earth beneath my opponent into fine sand, I start to mold that chakra and soften the ground my opponent is standing on. I make sure to soften it just right and not too much so that its wont lose its
impact ability. My opponent sinks deep into the soften
earth and causing great pain
