Lucifers black markings swirled, covering his entire body as a small horn sprouted between the two already atop his head, appearing almost like a crown now, he had heard more than enough prophecies lately. Energy thrummed between the child of Tiamat's finger tips but he knew that it was nothing in the face of the divine. Placing his faith in the old man and the weapon given to him by the very enemy that stood before him Lucifer would activate the caster spec active ability, enhancing the next handful of ninjutsu techniques he performed.

( Akai Kāma ) - Red Karma
Type: Mode

Chakra: 80 for level 1, 100 for level 2.
Damage: ( Varies depending on Level )
Description: Kāma, a seal that normally serves as a compressed backup of an Ōtsutsuki that they can embed in the body of a chosen recipient to transform into should they sustain fatal injuries, is capable of being placed on entities that are not considered proper vessels. Such individuals are unable to serve as a receptacle for the Ōtsutsuki's soul and thus cannot be used for the process of reincarnation, but retain its other traits, gaining tremendous power and abilities. When activated, this Red Kāma significantly enhances the user's physical abilities and power as well as allows the usage of Kāma Rift as well as Nesaku. They can also make use of Kāma to absorb enemy's attacks like ninjutsu and large-scale explosions. Unlike the normal seal, this variant only has 2 levels, differentiated between the power gain and the manifestion of a horn that grows across their head similar to a headband but spiked in the middle, extending over the top of the head towards the spine.
  • Level 1: The lowest level, this version simply creates black markings across the user's body, and increases all of their Ninjutsu and Taijutsu by +20. This level also allows the user to cause explosions of built up chakra and allows the user the ability to absorb Ninjutsu containing up to 40 chakra regardless of rank up to 3 times ( once per turn ). The user gains a doubled speed boost as well as a durability capable of reducing 20 damage from techniques. He also becomes capable of healing 10 damage per turn.
  • Level 2: This level, containing the same markings as before but with them now stretching up the arm and allowing the user to grow a small horn, likewise allows the user to increase their physical attacks and Ninjutsu by +30. Their Kāma now allows the user the ability to absorb any Ninjutsu of 50 chakra and below regardless of rank up to 3 times ( once per turn ) and the use of Kāma Rift. The user gains a 3x speed boost as well as a durability capable of reducing 30 damage from techniques. He also becomes capable of healing 15 damage per turn.
Note: Kāma cannot absorb non-chakra based physical matter, such as non chakra based viruses or natural existing water from a river being manipulated, thus becoming a vulnerability towards such attacks and weapons.
Note: Only Custom Characters with Red Kāma can use this.
Note: Can only be activated a max of 3 times. Level 1 lasts up to 5 turns while Level 2 can only be used a max of 4 turns. Collectively, this technique can only last a max of 7 turns each use before timing out.
Note: After absorption, the user is only able to use 2 jutsu the next turn

Light of the Pantheon (Active):
At the cost of a move and a slot in the timeframe the user is able to empower their next three Ninjutsu with an additional 30 damage and the ability to interact with Divinity.

With a wave of his hand Lucifer unleashed a gargantuan torrent of the sea of life from his body that would span the full length and width of the battleground before them, covering everything in the corrupting influence of the Amino-Geis, he did however heed the monks warning to be careful of the others and covered only the area in which he and Basel stood. Enhanced with the power of the light of the pantheon and red karma the sea of life was abnormally powerful tearing the earth apart as it travelled and threatening to crush Basel beneath it's mass.

(Seimei no Umi) – The Sea of Life

Description: The Sea of Life is the principle and signature skill of all Children of Tiamat; like Tiamat, it is a manifestation of their will and an extension of their own bodies. In essence, the Sea of Life emulates the concept of all life being born from the sea. Unlike the All-Mother, the Children of Tiamat expend considerable chakra when accessing this technique, or its variants. The black mud can be generated from any part of the user’s body and is of extraordinarily high density, allowing it to easily engulf and overcome physical obstacles. When used the scale of this technique can vary depending on the rank used; at its highest rank it can surpass even that of Water Release: Great Waterfall. Through physical force alone it can overwhelm multiple opponents, carrying immense concussive force. The user is able to release the mud from their body in any shape that they choose, limited only by their imagination and rank. The technique carries with it the Amino-Geis, forcibly converting whoever is caught into a slave of the user. The mud can be blocked or sealed, although it must respect neutrality and damage values. S-Rank applications can be used thrice per battle, once every two turns.

The mothman creation would use the distraction to take to the skies and circle around Basel to the mothmans left, attempting to get behind him.

The flame also serves to empower Basel, releasing it from each of his corrupted Tenketsu as it increases his damage by an additional thirty points and increases his speed by 3x.

Because the kick is empowered with Dragonfyre, it bends space around it according to Basel’s will. Upon impact the kick will cause the heat to radiate outwards, pulling any within short-range toward his searing leg. When used in a different form its range is increased, proportional to Basel.

"Didn't anyone ever teach you that flames attract moths?" Lucifer said his voice dripping with venom as a pillar of flame surrounded Basel blocking his sea of life, however only a short radius of the total sea of life was burnt away and Lucifer noted that the pillar was weakened, meaning he was having a effect. Thus a moment after the pillar erupted Lucifer would signal the mothman creation that was flanking to launch itself directly at the pillar while Lucifer triggered the sea of life inside the creature causing it to explode like a grenade in to a wave of devastating vile haze capable of piercing the barrier and causing injury to Basel through it potentially. The wave was further enhanced through the foul tether of the red star which Lucifer would attempt to bind Basel with causing continued applications of the curse for as long as the lingering damage would remain upon him.

(Seimei No Umi: Bakuhatsu-Tekina Sangeki) — Sea Of Life: Explosive Scourge

Description: By focusing and exerting control over the sea of life contained with any of the organisms created or controlled by the user, they will rapidly convert the sea of life contained within these beings in to the gaseous state of vile haze, this rapid shift has a grenade like effect causing an explosion of vile haze reaching short range in a 360 degree radius around the detonated being. This ability can work on multiple creations with a single usage allowing the user to effectively flood the field with vile haze, causing serious harm to anyone or anything that isn't a child of Tiamat. As mentioned this technique takes the form of vile haze, as such it doesn't carry the Amino-Geis, however it has incredible heat which inflicts lingering damage that can't be healed through regular means such as medjutsu or sage mode healing, requiring advanced healing abilities such as Yang release. A unique aspect of this technique is that any life form struck by this that somehow survives the incredibly potent heat and slicing damage will find themself inflicted with continual burning damage as the haze like gas sticks to their body like napalm, causing twenty damage per turn until it's removed. Due to the violent nature of this technique, the creations or beings detonated will be destroyed, in the case of a RPers bio controlled by the Amino-Geis, they will become disabled following standard recovery rules for biographies, they will however not die.

Note: After this ability is used, the user may not access the vile haze gaseous sea of life for three turns.

(Akaihoshi no Me) – Eye of the Red Star

Description: An enhancement cast through the user’s body as an extension to their techniques by infusing a considerable amount of chakra into them, along with trace amounts of the Sea of Life, occurring within the same timeframe. This causes any technique of the user’s to be augmented with a curse that is cast through the Sea of Life. The curse, much like the tether formed through Hungry Ghost, forms a bond through traditional counters against the user’s techniques. When the user’s techniques either strike the opponent or a source of their chakra the curse will bind to it. Those afflicted will suffer from physically debilitating effects; their maximum health will be reduced by 10 points, all damage they receive will be increased by 10% if directly struck, and they must spend 10% increased chakra for all of their techniques, not counting as additional chakra input but simply strain on their reserves. The health reduction does not count as damage, it simply counts as a reduction in maximum reserves. When the tether is broken the opponent will receive their lost health back, not including any damage sustained in the time before then. Effects of Eye of the Red Star can stack per clash between techniques, amplifying the negative effects considerably. The tether effect of Eye of the Red Star can be blocked or broken through techniques that include Yin or Yang Release or Natural Energy of equivalent chakra to the technique used. The infusion of Red Star does not count toward additional chakra infusion, simply increased strain on reserves. This technique can be used four times per battle.

The old man's face strained as Atavistic Flames danced around him in a helix formation, each spiral licking the edges of the inside of the stone temple. Just hold out.... He told himself, beads of sweat dripping from his forehead.

Basel returned his response in the roaring inferno, whether Lucifer could hear over the flames or not mattered little to the Dragonkin. "Afraid?" He smiled, closing his eyes for a moment as blue and scarlet flames licked across his body momentarily, his golden scales glowing with grand intensity as they spread over his human flesh, or what was left of it. "Not fear," From his back a pair of wings ruptured from his body as his face became completely covered in scales. "I won't live to see tomorrow." The blue and scarlet flames suddenly grew in a flash of aggressive intensity as Basel launched himself toward Lucifer with remarkable speed, engorging himself on his own Greed and Desire. He burst from the magnificent pillar of flame as he flew forward at him, hand outstretched.

Meanwhile, from his body powerful ballistic projectiles erupted as if from a volcano in random directions. In the distance some of them crashed down on the town, killing some of its inhabitants in an act of random violence. Collateral damage in a much grander cosmic war. Four others fell toward Lucifer's position, one Ice and one Dragonfyre. Two would land to Lucifer's flanks, four meters away. The other two would crash down four meters behind him. A dreadful combination that Basel had given an ideal name - Duality, the combination of Ice and Dragonfyre. Tens of other projectiles launched themselves in random directions on the battlefield, crashing downward in torrents of infernos and storms of icy entropy as they did. The Vile Haze that the Mothman would release would be pulled toward the maelstroms of dragonfyre, incinerated, or frozen by the meteors of Icefyre.

And while this chaos erupted Basel would reach toward Lucifer with his remarkable speed, hand outstretched, and aimed for his throat.

(Nigensei/Bubun Henshin: Konagona Tera) - Duality/Partial Transformation: Shattered Pantheon

The golden scales on Basel’s form spread and harden outward, covering more of his form. He also gains a pair of scaly dragon wings to compliment his body. These wings are proportional to his human size and allow him to fly at his current speed level. As Basel further falls into his draconic nature, so too does his propensity for Greed. As long as the Corrupted Essence of Desire remains active, Basel will gain an additional two stacks toward its total benefit regardless of the number of abilities his enemy, or enemies, have. Upon activation Basel will launch himself in a single direction, unleashing a barrage of large boulder-sized projectiles that are comprised of both Ice and Dragonfyre. The Dragonfyre projectiles explode on impact, causing all within 7 meters of the impact site to be pulled in toward them and suffer from its damage. Icefyre projectiles freeze everything within short-range of their position instantly.
(Bahamūto no Haaku) - Grasp of Bahamut

Lucifer saw the explosive transformation happening in front of his eyes, Basel was turning in to a more draconic form, almost reminiscent of the avatar of Tiamat many years ago, but her child had no time to dwell on the meaning behind this transformation as it would herald the coming of a new onslaught. Realising that he was outmatched in raw damage given the repeated failings of his attacks along with raw physical speed and power, Lucifer would open a kama rift inches behind himself leaping backwards through it the moment Basel had sprouted his wings, warping himself in to long range behind Basel careful to avoid the flying projectiles he saw erupting from Basel's body, making sure he was at least 10 meters away from any fired, with the rift closing before Basel reached his former location preventing his physical attack following through the portal.

( Kāma Hame ) - Karma Rift

Description: This technique is a Space–Time Ninjutsu used by those with access to Kāma. The user creates a rift, which allows anyone enveloped to transfer to a chosen location including foreign dimensions. The rift's formation is fast enough to catch targets off guard and transport them alongside the user, as well as to evade attacks from enemies at the last moment. Two Kāma recipients can collaboratively manifest the rift from their marks to bypass barriers. The rift's formation is fast enough for catch targets off guard, teleporting as close as 5 meters away and if in contact with them, transport them alongside himself when teleporting.
Note: Can only be used once every 2 turns and requires Kāma to be active.
Note: Can only be used by Kawaki, Boruto, Jigen and custom bios with Red Kāma

With the sea of life not working, perhaps a illusion will, Lucifer thought to himself. Attempting to cast a powerful one upon Basel, it's effective range extended by his specialty he could target enemies from very far away unlike most. Should the illusion prove successful Basel would see himself impaled from behind by multiple blades, each one wielded by another of the void lords and various members of Akatsuki, in the illusion they would taunt him for his weakness and greed.

(Genjutsu: Abusaromo no Iwari) — Illusionary Technique: Absalom’s End

Description: Making three handseals the user will cast a genjutsu upon the opponent, this illusionary technique causes the opponent to be suddenly impaled from behind by one or several blades, this will prevent the opponent from moving as the blades are all curved and hooked to prevent mobility. Once this has happened figure/figures will step in front of the victim holding the blades, these figures can either be simply visually similar to creations of the sea of life, or they can be a corrupted version of people important to the victim, such as their parents, lovers, friends, or other relatives. The helix formation solidified now, Atavistic Flames bursting to life as the ritual reached half way to completion. He breathed heavily, struggling to maintain his own control as his progress was only slightly hindered by Lucifer's usage of the Karma Rift. In spite of his hindered progress, Lucifer's Genjutsu seemed to balance it out.

It was eerie, a strange acceptance of events to come that were unbeknownst to Lucifer. "The old man's ritual is half way toward its completion." Basel turned toward him and met his gaze. After he said it Lucifer would feel it; an empowering change welling up in his own body as the Atavistic ritual connected with him. He would feel stronger and filled with life. But most importantly: he would feel human. More human than he had ever felt before. The ritual, simply known among the Monks as the Atavism, was a return to the very humble origins of humanity. A time before chakra and just after the gods, Marduk's Pantheon, had left the world.

Soon the Void will embrace me again in infinite slumber. But in that our God will return. Basel thought to himself when suddenly he was interrupted as his eyes, still locked with Lucifer's, could see Nefarian and Phetra both running him through with two katanas, each through his pectorals as they cut cleanly through his scales. Behind him Demetrias struck, running him through with another curved sword that wrapped around his abdomen. Along with them were the Akatsuki, each with their respective Relic Weapon, striking at Basel in unison.

Though the deception was obvious Basel still found it entertaining nonetheless. His own allies? The Akatsuki maybe; but he knew full well where Phetra was now, still trapped in the Void. While Nefarian, the closest he could regard to a 'friend,' impaling him. Nefarian was no where near the island at this point, though he would be soon enough. And Demetrias? Laughable. He was nothing more than a husk now. "Come Lucifer, let us witness the apocalypse together." Basel grinned viciously, still trapped in the illusion as he surged chakra through his entire body. Twin wisps of Ice and Dragonfyre manifested at his feet, twisting around his body in a rapid dance. The illusion shattered, freeing the Dragonkin to once again gaze upon Lucifer unobstructed before the twin wisps suddenly engorged themselves and grew in size as they began to twist around him. Before long a tornado of blue and orange flames rampaged outward, spreading to long-range in an unstoppable maelstrom of twin flames.

Lucifer watched in concern as the voidlord broke his illusion and began to form huge tornadoes of energy around himself, his red karma was nearing it's limit and losing that power up would no doubt be costly given he was already struggling to keep up with the draconic foe, as quickly as he could muster he would slam his hands on the ground dropping a 5 meter radius of the earth at blistering speeds downwards by twenty five meters, hoping that this would prevent the tornadoes from reaching him.

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user will slam his hands on the ground which he can then lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.

With the ground lowered and the fire raging above, Lucifer would release the sea of life from the soles of his feet where it would propagate inside the earth growing with each passing turn until he called it forth. The old man would have to hurry, time was running out. Activating his beast slaying tools power once more, he prepared to press on.

Description: Releasing the sea of life from the soles of their feet, the user will pump huge amounts of the mud like substance in to the earth, the heat and power of the sea of life will hollow out the earth, however the earth won’t be visibly cracked on the surface level initially. After a set amount of time however the ground under the user and all around the area up to long range will become the sea of life, at which point the user can cause it to crack and erupt forth with a handseal, depending on the time that the user spends before triggering the eruption will determine how much of the area is converted. Impact damage will be caused to anyone touched by the sea of life who isn’t immune to it. Two turns after the user has triggered the cracking earth, they will be able to summon forth familiars from the swamp, these familiars will be formed from the sea of life made from bugs that rest in the earth they can appear as demonic beetles or worms, they carry the amino-geis but cause no damage, relying on latching on to other living beings to convert them.
Note: The technique will start at short range and each turn will add a range, at four turns the user can convert an entire landmark in to the sea of life, but doing this will count as two usages of the technique.
Note: The technique carries the Amino-Geis and can convert life that comes in to contact with it, which allows the user to create the familiars.
Note: The familiars cause no damage, up to 4 can be made and can be commanded with freeform description at no move cost.

By now the flames began to roar, filling the temple as they dangerously swept around the room and licked its walls. They were close now. So very close. Soon Basel's Authority would be dispelled and victory would be in sight.

"You're suddenly quiet now, Lucifer." Basel stated calmly, walking toward the edge of the pit that he made. "Soon the whole world will fall silent," The Dragonkin smiled, though not with his usual vicious grin or diabolical expression. Standing at the edge he glared downward, his golden eyes locked on Lucifer's as Sea of Life spewed from the soles of his feet. "We could stop, you know? I could let Iavid's ritual complete. Let him rend the last vestiges of Ianna's Authority on this planet...." That grin suddenly morphed into its usual thrilled, bloodthirsty, dreadful countenance, "But it wouldn't make a damn difference!" Still standing at the edge Basel began to manifest Icefyre, breathing a stream of the majestic blue flame from his mouth in a wide channel, arcing outward as it spread over the entire enclosure. The flames would dance downward as they spread out over the opening that Lucifer created, leaving no room for similar means of escape.

"What's wrong, is that a hint of fear in your voice? A little freudian slip perhaps. What's wrong Basel does staring death in the face worry you just a little, if it's any consolation Phetra faced the end with even less dignity than you." Lucifer taunted as he saw the icy breath emerge, raising both hands he released a huge burst of chitinous vestige the same size as the hole he was in, aimed to engulf and absorb the ice attack entirely before falling back in to the hole in the form of a dragons tooth.

Description: The user releases a considerable amount of chitinous vestige from their body, in a form of their choosing that respects the scaling of the rank used. This chitinous vestige when clashing with an opposing technique will be capable of absorbing it based on the standard fuuinjutsu rulings, once a technique has been absorbed the chitinous vestige will plant itself in the ground and begin converting the terrain around it at a rate of five meters per turn in all directions. Anything that comes into contact with the converted ground will be afflicted with the amino-geis. The planted vestige will take on the shape of a large spike roughly twelve feet in height and two feet in width, taking on a damage resistance of it's ranks base damage plus an additional twenty due to it's nature as a sea of life variation. For example an S ranked dragons tooth will have a resistance to 90 damage, requiring that much to be destroyed and following the damage rules for anything below that amount. Meaning a standard C rank jutsu would have no effect at all for example.

Note: Each turn the dragon's teeth uses ten chakra to convert the surrounding area, used directly from the reserves of chakra it absorbed from enemy techniques. Upon expending all the absorbed chakra contained inside it the dragon's tooth will become inert no longer covering additional terrain, however the Amino-Geis will remain present in any ground already converted.
Note: Converted ground will have an innate defense equal to the tooth itself, requiring the same damage to destroy, however as with all Chitinous Vestige it doesn't cause damage to others, relying on the corrupting presence of the Amino-Geis to harm.

Basel had dematerialized himself in the same moment that Lucifer's Dragon Teeth absorbed the Icefyre, slipping into the Void effortlessly before he would return only a foot behind Lucifer deep in the pit. Basel stood there, ankle deep in the Sea of Life as it unfazed him; his Draconic form was not vulnerable to it, a result of existing outside Tiamat's Authority. While he might be a flesh and blood being, he was also the embodiment of greed and desire. Until his Authority was rendered ineffective, the Dragon of Greed and Desire would act with impunity. As he stood there a flash of Icefyre pulsed outward, freezing everything in place. Even the Sea of Life, which sloshed at the bottom of the pit, was locked in motion as every drop of thermal energy was ripped from it. Subsequently, a dramatic and magnificent blue explosion ripped through the area in the immediate aftermath. "The ritual...it is complete." Basel whispered breathlessly, looking toward the Trench of Engur despite being at the bottom of Lucifer's man-made pit.

Description: Winter Stasis is an Icefyre technique deployed through a full body surge of chakra from Basel’s body, releasing entropic Icefyre from his body in a two step pulse of energy. The first pulse, non-damaging, instantly siphons all thermal energy from everything within mid-range; the result is a winter wonderland of frozen targets with no kinetic energy. Even the very air is frozen as particles of oxygen and nitrogen are essentially locked in place, creating a sort of dead zone mid-range of Basel’s position. The second pulse is considerably deadlier, triggering immediately after the freezing effects as it causes a flash of Icefyre, moving at standard S-Rank Fire Release speed, to burst outward from Basel’s body in a deadly explosion.

He gave one last smile, a smug smirk as he realized it came to an end and knew that the remainder of the battle was in Lucifer's hands. He collapsed as the helix shaped array of Atavistic Flame burst from the temple, causing its roof to explode in a violent shattering. It darted to Lucifer at the edge of the town. They dived into the pit below, wrapping around his body as Basel was launched backwards by them, throwing the Dragonkin into the edge of the wall before he quickly took flight with his golden wings. The flames breathed new life into Lucifer's body, restoring his form and thermal energy despite Basel's Icefyre Stasis. All remnants of what Lucifer was, a being suffused with Greed, was left behind. In its place was a freshly minted Grandmaster of the Atavistic Flame. But most importantly: they provided Origination. A return to the past as he was engulfed in its welcoming embrace. Victory was in sight.

"Hahahahaha!" Basel laughed maniacally, wings suspending him in air as he looked down on Lucifer's radiant form. "So the old man was capable after all. I'm pleased after all these years-" But Basel was suddenly interrupted as an earthquake shook the planet so violently that even the air itself trembled. Lucifer's Dragon Teeth crumbled into dust and the Sea of Life at the bottom of the pit, or what of it was thawed out by Iavid's Origination, splashed and sloshed dramatically. Far in the distance, many many landmarks away, the Trench of Engur glowed brightly. Bubbles and pockets of air suddenly rose from the still freshwaters as the planet shook. In their wake a beam of purple Voidlight sparked and flashed upwards toward the sky, leaving behind a pillar of gentle light purple radiance. The ritual had completed and Basel's Divinity was stripped...but at what cost?

Basel shouted, no, cried in visceral joy, "The Fourth Domain!" He laughed, tilting his head backwards in sheer happiness.

"Well, I guess the old man's ritual worked after all, what a strange feeling, I feel almost weightless." Lucifer stated calmly, looking at his own form he could tell the presence of the karma was gone and while he remained a child of Tiamat it was almost suppressed, he felt more human than before but yet somehow more still.

His right hand tightened around the lance given to him by his current foe, who seemed to be celebrating despite his newfound weakness. That no longer mattered to Lucifer though, he'd had enough of their schemes and plans and wasn't looking at anything past defeating Basel right here and now.

Raising his left hand he felt a surge of unfamiliar power, manifesting it effortlessly as though he'd been doing so his entire life he unleashed a wave of strange flames with enormous dimensions aimed to tear through the earth before him and strike Basel, with the secondary effect of flattening the terrain to the level he stood at. The blast would reach long range from it's initial point in both length and width and would blast the earth away with explosive force, though Lucifer would be careful to not damage sanctuary with the rubble.

Description: Crown Fire is an advanced application of the Human Principle available to Masters and Grandmasters. It possesses intrinsic Anti-Divinity, a property that allows it to damage Divine beings in the same way that the God-Slaying Tools can. The technique is activated by focusing Atavistic Flame and drawing upon the user’s spirit, focusing it throughout their body. Unlike Human Principle, which can only be used from the user’s hands, Crown Fire can be released anywhere from the user’s body and in significantly greater quantities. This fire can be shaped to the user’s will and inflicts combustible physical damage to anything it strikes. Activating the technique requires the user expend 20 spiritual Health Points. The user regenerates 10 spiritual Health Points per turn for the following two turns. Grandmasters are able to use Crown Fire with an additional 30 damage to each rank, not counting as a boost. S-Rank applications can be used four times per battle, once every two turns.

Walking through the destroyed terrain, Lucifer raised his left hand, focusing his newfound powers once more and shaping them in his minds eye, a blade would erupt in to form in his hand, roughly the same length as a average longsword this blazing weapon would be juxtaposed to the lance held in his right hand, both weapons were held at the ready as he aimed to continue the battle. As he walked his body was engulfed in a golden glow, as the flames bolstered his physical form beyond their normal capabilities.

Description: Focusing the willpower of humanity and shaping it through the minds eye allows the user of this technique to manifest a blade of atavistic flame with a tangible solid form that can be held and used in one or two hands. The blade is roughly the length of the average longsword usually, but can be increased in size to be comparable to a larger greatsword. Wielding this blade will drain the users spiritual HP every time it is used, reducing it by 5 with every single usage, the blade can be used as a medium for the human principle technique and it's more powerful variants along with blaze of glory and conflagrate. A usage is defined as an offensive action. It's freeform damage, when swung offensively, or defensively, without a technique is normal freeform. When using these techniques the blazing sword will increase their damage by ten points, additionally kenjutsu and bukijutsu can be performed using the Blazing Sword and these attacks will be enhanced by ten damage points. Simply holding the blade will burn away the users spiritual HP along with using it, making it a dangerous ability to use for a long period of time, however when in any level of will to survive the blades spiritual hp drain will be removed, instead it will drain from the users atavistic flame reserves at twice the rate that it would have drained HP, for example each usage will drain twenty from reserves instead of ten spiritual hp.
Note: This weapon can be destroyed with S rank damage but can't be used to defend unless via a suitable technique.
Note: May be used twice per battle and persists as long as the user continues to fuel it at a cost of 5 spiritual HP per turn.

Description: Blaze of Glory is a powerful Atavistic Fire technique that employs devastation on a wide scale. From their hand or their mouth, the user generates a single golden ember and launches it to a targeted destination on the battlefield. Upon reaching its destination the ember erupts in a massive inferno, encompassing up to 40 meters to unleash fiery devastation in a widespread area. Upon creation the user is able to designate allies, following Atavistic Flame’s rules, and render them immune, along with the user, to the damage inflicted by Blaze of Glory. Those designated by the user instead are healed for a massive 80 spiritual Health Points, not including the user themselves. Activation of this technique requires the user expend 30 spiritual Health Points. They will heal themselves for 10 spiritual Health Points over three turns, 10 per turn. This technique can be used three times per battle, once every two turns. Grandmaster applications increase the damage of this technique by an additional 30, not counting as a boost.

With the blaze of glory hurtling towards his opponent, Lucifer would form a string of seals casting a potent genjutsu upon Basel in which he would see himself being crucified and then impaled by a corrupted version of Lucifer holding his GST lance.

Description: Making three handseals the user will cast a genjutsu upon the opponent, this illusionary technique causes the opponent to be suddenly raised into the air by a cross, nails will slam through their hands and feet causing blood to spill down the wooden frame. Once this has happened a figure of the users choosing will step in front of the victim holding a long rusty spear, these figures can either be simply visually similar to creations of tiamat, or they can be a corrupted version of people important to the victim, such as their parents, lovers, friends, or other relatives. This doesn't cause additional effects, the damage caused will be mental damage from the spear being thrust through the victims heart.
Note: Victims of this jutsu are not entirely paralysed by it, being able to perform jutsu that require no seals, they however can’t make seals or move under their own momentum in the illusion.

Basel stood there drenched in blood looking down at the mutilated corpse of Bahamut. Half of his body was scorched, burned by Dragonfyre. The other half frozen, locked in space from relentless entropy. "Who..?" He asked, the daze of bloodlust still clouding his mind.

Many names, child of the gods. I am shapeless, yet the first and last. What do you feel now? You have sentenced your Pantheon to the Void. To Me.

Basel took a moment to reflect. The entire Pantheon was dead now; Hoshkar, Nexona, Silverwing....all of them dead. Even the Queen. And now Bahamut, his mangled and desecrated body soon to be devoured by the ravenous Basel. "I feel...I need more. Much more." He growled under his breath, looking around at the granite stone that lined the walls of Bahamut's Peak, the temple of the dragons.

His eyes, golden and burning, still were fixated on the sky as it darkened above. He coughed twice, black smoke bursting from his lungs. "Maybe it's arrogance, maybe stupidity..." His voice trailed off as he choked on smoke again for a moment. "Maybe faith in what you know. But these realities...these small pockets in an infinite cosmos...they are so fragile. He lives in an inexorable cycle of death and rebirth. Fight as you may...he cannot be stopped."

Basel quivered as he attempted to stand up, using his torched arms for balance until finally falling back to the ground. "Abzu..." He said, voice weak now.

"I'm sorry Abzu...but allow me this one moment..." His eyes burned brighter, locking on Lucifer's as he lay there. Suddenly two wisps of Ice and Dragonfyre danced around his body before suddenly exploding into a pillar of dualistic flames. It thrust itself toward the sky as it bore a hole through the dark purple clouds that were overtaking the hurricane that raged above it just hours ago. Within that column Basel's body underwent a transformation, surrendering whatever shred of humanity that was left to favor his draconic heritage.

This technique is typically activated when Basel’s Authority, the Essence of Desire, has been sufficiently undermined to the point where he must rely on his own strength in place of Inanna’s, the Queen of Heaven. Basel’s draconic body is enormous, towering at half the size of Manda’s snake form. He is covered in golden scale plating, reducing all physical and spiritual damage inflicted by 40. Basel's Ice and Dragonfyre damage is increased by 60 points and also gain a 10% chance to critically strike anything they hit. When activated a colossal scale pillar of Ice and Dragonfyre will burst from Basel’s body, engulfing him entirely as it expands outward 70 meters unleashing pure indiscriminate destruction in its path. Anything within mid-range of the pillar is pulled toward it, dragged through the flames His speed and tracking are increased by four times his base. Basel will heal by 100 Health Points upon activation and remove the effects of Health Fatigue from himself.

Description: The Beloved Dragon of Greed and Desire is a transformative skill used by Basel. When activated Basel’s body will transform from that of a Dragonkin into a full blown dragon via Chakra surge. This technique is typically activated when Basel’s Authority, the Essence of Desire, has been sufficiently undermined to the point where he must rely on his own strength in place of Inanna’s, the Queen of Heaven. Basel’s draconic body is enormous, towering at half the size of Manda’s snake form. He is covered in golden scale plating, reducing all physical and spiritual damage inflicted by 40. Basel's Ice and Dragonfyre damage is increased by 60 points and also gain a 10% chance to critically strike anything they hit. When activated a colossal scale pillar of Ice and Dragonfyre will burst from Basel’s body, engulfing him entirely as it expands outward 70 meters unleashing pure indiscriminate destruction in its path. Anything within mid-range of the pillar is pulled toward it, dragged through the flames His speed and tracking are increased by four times his base. Basel will heal by 100 Health Points upon activation and remove the effects of Health Fatigue from himself.

Lucifer spoke with conviction as he saw the energy begin to erupt from his foe, reminiscent of his earlier attacks, the child of Tiamat suspected this would cover a huge area engulfing him and sanctuary if he didn't intervene. Slamming his hands on the ground, Lucifer would cause the ground under himself and all around him in a large squared section to lower, large enough to protect Lucifer and a large portion of sanctuary by moving it beneath the erupting dragon.

Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user will slam his hands on the ground which he can then lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.
Note: Can only be used twice.

With the huge earth pillar raised with Basel atop it, Lucifer would place his blazing sword on the earth injecting a single seed of Atavistic flame in to the pillar, which bored it's way to the centre of the object, before a cataclysmic rumble signalled it's emergence as a huge pillar of flames shot upwards aimed to scorch Basel to his core from below. These flames were enhanced by caster spec and the final charge of his light of the pantheon.

Description: Conflagrate is an Atavistic technique that surges the Flame through the user’s body and releasing embers, similar to Blaze of Glory, into the earth beneath them. These embers target specific locations beneath the ground, burning to reach their targeted destination anywhere within long range. They do so silently and given their size and depth beneath the earth, five meters, are difficult to detect. The user is able to release up to four seeds, dividing the damage per standard rules. The user triggers them through their will and upon being triggered will explode in a 7-meter radius pillar that erupts 50 meters into the sky. The base of the pillar splits into four different circular pulses of fire that erupt one after another radiating outwards from the original pillar’s position. Activation of this technique requires the user expend 40 spiritual Health Points; they regenerate 10 spiritual Health Points per turn in the following three turns.

With his strength waning, Lucifer would decide it was now or never. Activating the full power of Atavistic flame, yellow embers seemed to dance from his flesh as his sclera shifted to a brilliant golden hue. His form now indicative of a grandmaster who had accessed the peak of will to survive.

Description: Will to Survive is an empowered state of spirit and soul, strengthening the user on multiple combat dimensions. The potency of the mode is divided between three different levels depending on the user’s mastery over their Atavistic Flame. Entering this form is comparatively complicated to Sage Mode even though the modes are similar in functionality. Atavistic Flame is recognized as humanity’s collective will to persevere; because of this it is actually optimal to activate the Will to Survive when the user is at their weakest, rather than at their strongest as is with Sage Mode. Inferno is the strongest version of Will to Survive, eclipsing the power of Blaze and Hollow Flame. Upon activation Inferno will take the user’s missing Health Points from their maximum and multiply that value by 7. This value represents the user’s total reserves from the use of Atavistic Flame techniques and the mode’s sustainment. The mode is deactivated once the user has expended these reserves. While active the user becomes resistant to all sources of damage, reducing them by 50 points. The user becomes able to passively sense sources of life up to two landmarks from their position while also gaining enhanced tracking, reflexes, perception, and speed by x4. Their usage of Atavistic Flame is enhanced to its pinnacle, strengthening them by an additional 40 damage. The user’s body will blaze with golden fire with embers roaring into the distance. Their sclera shift toward a magnificent gold. While active the user regenerates their missing Health Points at a rate of 50 per turn, applying to both physical and spiritual damage. However, as this is the strongest Will to Survive it also represents their final stand. Once Will to Survive expires the user’s Health Points will drop to zero; while this does not kill them it will incapacitate them, circumventing any technique or passive that would otherwise heal or restore the user upon death.
Note: Atavistic techniques used in this mode still inflict recoil damage if they do by default. Atavistic effective Chakra value is reduced from the total mode's resources while in use.
Note: Usable only by Grandmasters of Atavistic Flame.
Note: Inferno can only be used once per battle, resulting in the user’s incapacitation.
Note: Activation of Inferno consumes a Grandmaster’s ability to use Hollow Flame or Blaze.

Basel's draconic form collapsed. He had lived, for thousands, if not millions of years, as a being that fed on greed. But the Divinity he had stolen from Ishtar, forcibly ripped from her Divine body, finally expired in the wake of all the damage he had suffered during his battle. His purpose was fulfilled one final, glorious time. The titanic dragon slammed to the ground, shaking the earth beneath his mighty form. He was a being of raw power, a blunt weapon not known for precision. His life was fading. In the pit left behind by their battle, a scar upon the wonderfully untouched earth of Kamiyasumi, blood seeped from his form as the golden scales of his body began to disintegrate. From the husk of his draconic form lay a man. A simple man. The human that Basel once was. His breathing was labored, his eyes now a faded gold. "Father..." His eyes closed, breathing stopped. Above his body a small tear in spacetime formed: a Rift. It glowed purple and blue as it danced circularly around his body. It was unstable and no telling how long it would last....

"Is it, over?" Lucifers breathing was ragged, his organs burned as the embers of will to survive flecked away from him as though his own soul was consuming itself.

Basel had fallen, he lay motionless on the ground but the child of Tiamat had to be sure. He dug his spear in to the ground and dragged his broken form closer to Basel as yellow embers danced in the air they intermingled with a strange blue glow, something was surrounding the fallen void lord a rift of some sort but Lucifer knew not what it was.

Lucifer raised his beast slaying tool with lethal intent as he approached Basel's broken form, the strange glow concerned him, he had not come so far to falter at the end.

Attempting to impale the beast of greed was his next act. Stepping in to the rift to do so.

Stepping through the Rift would bring Lucifer to a unique reality; a small pocket of the Void carved out by Basel. It was his treasure trove. The reality was separate from Lucifer's own, thus removing and negating the effects of the Atavism and Inferno. Within was a cavern, brilliantly lit with torches along the walls that burned with bright Dragonfyre. But what was more breathtaking were the piles, no mountains, of gold bars, coins, and other gold objects like chalices, plates, and jewelry spread throughout it. Untold amounts of wealth were here, plundered from worlds lost in the past. No one man, save a phallic rocket, could spend such money in a single lifetime. And yet at the heart of it all, in the center of the round brilliantly lit cave, was a single spear suspended above the ground. Behind Lucifer the Rift remain open, though there was no telling how long it would remain.

Description: The Holy Spear, 聖槍, also known as the Spear of Longinus or the Spear of Destiny, is a Divine artifact weapon retrieved from a momentary Rift opened after the death of Basel, the Dragon of Greed and Desire. The Rift led to Basel’s own treasure hoard where Lucifer retrieved the weapon, returning it to his reality. The Lance was forged by Bahamut, the supreme deity of Basel’s reality. It was created to symbolize the harmony between human and dragon; yet this harmony was desecrated by Basel when he slaughtered much of his world and subsumed draconic hearts, becoming the first Dragonkin. In Lucifer’s hands the spear represents his own harmony: the delicate balance between his humanity and his Child of Tiamat heritage. The spear is crafted out of a platinum gold alloy, making it extremely wear resistant. Because of it was forged from a unique brand of Divinity from another world it is indestructible, though it cannot be used defensively alone like this. It is about 2 meters in length and is double sided, with an ornate point at either end. Each point has two gemstones embedded in it; one side has two rubies, the other has two sapphires. On a basic level, the Holy Lance empowers the user through their dualistic existence and carries with it Anti-Divinity that is capable of slaying a god. Passively, the Lance increases the user’s Children of Tiamat or Atavistic Flame techniques by an additional 30 damage, though it cannot increase both simultaneously. The default should be stated in the user’s biography; this can be changed with the Lance’s technique Harmony. It also augments the user’s Children of Tiamat techniques or Atavistic Flame speed by an additional two levels, depending on the state that Harmony is in.

Chōwa (lit. 調和, “Harmony”): Harmony is symbolic of the Holy Lance’s balance between human and dragon. In Lucifer’s hands, this becomes a balance between Child of Tiamat and humanity. Passively, Harmony is used to shift the balance between either heritage. This causes the Holy Lance’s passive damage boost to shift between the Sea of Life and Atavistic Flame, though never both. In spite of being a passive ability, Harmony can only be used once per turn. At the cost of a move and 100 Will to Survive energy, the user can activate Harmony in the same timeframe as entering the Will to Survive. This allows all of Will to Survive’s bonuses to be shared with the user’s Sea of Life techniques. It also causes the user’s Atavistic or Children of Tiamat techniques, per the user’s will, to become Sea of Life/Atavistic combination techniques; visually this appears as if the Sea of Life is ignited by bright orange flame. Harmony can be used actively twice per battle.

Hikari no Nigensei (lit. 光二元性, “Light of Duality”): Light of Duality is a Holy Lance technique that uses Lucifer’s Atavistic Fire or Sea of Life, depending on the default state of the Lance and its Harmony. Lucifer charges the Holy Lance, coating it in a projectile based on his current Harmony, either Atavistic Flame or the Sea of Life. While active, Lucifer can retain the coating on the weapon and increase the damage of his Kenjutsu or Bukijutsu techniques by an additional 20 damage. This coating can last for four turns. Alternatively, Lucifer can launch Light of Duality as a projectile with long-range reach, causing an explosion on impact that creates a massive pillar, depending on its Harmony state, that spans mid-range in diameter and reaches 60 meters into the sky. This inflicts 100 physical damage and is strong to all elemental natures with the exception of Anutu and its subcomponents. This can be used three times per battle.

It creates a flexible barrier that fits to the user’s body and can resist a maximum of 100 damage that it comes into contact with. The barrier is natured toward Atavistic Flame, giving it fiery properties that cannot harm the user or their creations. It also allows the user’s techniques, of any kind, to pass through unhindered. When their Harmony favors their Sea of Life, the barrier created will be produced on all currently active familiars, Creations, or enslaved individuals. This barrier carries Sea of Life properties and can absorb up to 60 damage. Note that its damage capacity is lost like Health Points (i.e. 60 damage will reduce an Atavistic barrier to 40 damage remaining). Defender of Humanity can be used three times per battle. The barrier lasts two turns or until destroyed, whichever is sooner.

Lucifer explored the treasure room, his eyes came to rest on the weapon before he claimed it as his own, a last glance was made at the treasures hoarded by the beast of greed, what a sad existence he had lived and for so long. Perhaps at last he would find a measure of peace.

Lucifer would leave the rift returning to the sanctuary where he would collapse in a heap exhausted.
