Samurai Champloo

I just finished Cowboy Bebop (btw amazing anime and a sad ending), I am unsure of the next anime to go into although I heard some good things about Samurai Champloo.

Thoughts? And if you were to recommend me something better, please, nothing on going I hate cliff hangers. I want to watch all the good ones that have long been done with so I can actually get on with on going anime's. Thanks!

Well it depends on what you are looking for?

Samurai Champloo is indeed one of the best animes I've seen. It's also funny and has no cliffhangers.

The best anime in my opinion, however, is "Monster"

Monster is a bit long and is slow, but it's unlike any other. It's very realistic and tells a story about a search for a serial killer. It also looks like a German cartoon.

Another great anime is Ergo Proxy. Again, it starts off slow, but it picks up. It's a very "deep" anime, so don't expect much comedy.

If you want one of the best action packed animes with amazing fight scenes and quality, watch Fate/Zero followed by the sequel series Fate/Stay Unlimited Blades

The best comedy anime I've ever seen is called Cromartie Highschool. It has Freddy Mercury as a character that rides a horse lol

Stein's Gate is also a really good anime with mix of comedy and drama

Hellsing Ultimate is one of my favorites as well. Very action packed.

Barakamon is a light-hearted comedy anime. Don't expect much story or drama, it's something to watch that can put a smile on your face when you're down.

Awesome anime, great music, cool fights another delectable work by Watanabe.

You should also see Space Dandy and Zankyou no Terror these two are also by Watanabe.

Samurai Champloos a great written anime, minimal characters but great story fighting and main character development

After watching bebop and champloo I yearn for anime similar to those two but they are simply so different from others

Champloo' great, lots of laughs, amazing hip-hop soundtrack, and arguably the best swordfights in any anime. Other than that, Watanabe's got three other series that're all worth taking a look at.

Kids on the Slope is basically a slice-of-life pseudo-romance (not really its big focus) about some friends who enjoy playing jazz together.

Space Dandy is essentially Bebop with different characters if it focused more on comedy than drama.

Terror in Resonance is about two young terrorists and the mystery surrounding them and why they attacked Tokyo.

 

[Jazzy Stardust]

It's literally one of the best anime.
