Samurai Champloo Tag Wall

So, yeah, two tags... The tags are completely different styles... I tried to work with C4Ds... And I tried to experiment a bit with the first tag...

The characters are from anime Samurai Champloo and I really recommend you to see the anime if you haven't till now. This is one of the rare anime which are not based on manga, actually, the manga came after the anime in case of SC. For OP fans Kazuya Nakai is the voice actor for one of main characters in the anime. xD

This is my second time to watch SC and I enjoyed it even more than the first time so... yeah, check it out!

Great job hun. What they both lack a little is vibrant colors and contrast or.. shiny effects if you catch my drift. The first one's render is a little random blended on the arm there x).

K 'nuff with the fancy xd; I really like what you've done. The style is in my taste - the second tag looks better in my opinion. Really great placements of all elements. It looks flawless from my point of view. The first one however somewhat lacks what Skormu-chan stated. From my perspective I think you should emphasised more on the render (what I mean is made it stick out more) it looks over-blended and the text and background is too dominant for it. Playing around with blurring/sharpening helps with this.

Great work, would love to see more from you. I will request from you a sig similar to the second.

What a surprise Azu! I seriously didn't expect something as good as this from you, when I haven't seen too many tags off of you. I wont dwell into neither of these, but the second one's criticism I would give is that the Render might be a little too blended into the c4d's, making it unclear on what is apart of the background/foreground and what is apart of the actual render although you gave us the link to the render.

I was listening to music from SC while I was doing it so maybe that helped too, but yeah, I really tried to kind of find colors and things that goes well with these characters. Lol
And do re-watch it... I noticed you like it even more after re-watching. xD

I kind of had some idea with the render and the background which didn't go that well which is why I covered it with the text and other stuff. Lol

I don't post too much of my tags here on NB or anywhere really (well maybe on my DA from time to time) but I make few tags a week. Only way to progress with GFX-ing is practicing and practicing. Lol
I guess I understand what you think about blending but my plan was that his legs are not clearly visible (blended well) while u can see the upper part well so it makes blending good but I know what you mean. Will try to fix it.

Blending is always matter of practice I think, but you try to think of beautiful things you see in real life and try to apply the same things you like on your tags or anything you try to create, because I really think that GFX-ing is speacial kind of art that needs to pe more appreciated. *_*
