Kisame with Samehada in 30% chakra was able to tank Gai in 6 gates. Which is roughly 75% of Gai's full power.

Now bare with the math. Kisame without Samehada lost to Gai in 7 gates just barely which is 87.5 % of Gai's power.
So if 7 gates Gai 87.5% = Kisame without Samehada.

I suck at math so I'm taking a guess here Samehada was about probably 60 percent of Kisame's fighting ability . (Correct me if I'm wrong)

That means 60 percent of Kisames power was gone and should have been able to wreck even 8 gates guy at only 45 percent of his true power? xd

That's jus cray. WTH

wtf

kisamehada would still lose to guy's afternoon tiger since it can't be absorbed by kisame or samehada

maths is of no use here dude

I dont believe that any type of mathematical analysis can determine the extent of a ninja's power. Even if Kisame had Samehada against Gai at 7 Gates, that 45% is irrelevant if you throw in the variable of Gai's Afternoon Tiger. The move is a super fast punch that accelerates at a high velocity, meaning it is not a chakra based move. Even if Kisame + Samehada holds their own against Gai using only 7 Gates, that move would still have destroyed Kisame in the same way.

Dont get me wrong, you have a logical approach in a real world sense. But in the world of Naruto, we have to take into account of Kishimoto's Law.
