Part 3:
Salem stayed up late working on his experiment to make the sharingan work in his puppets and finally he made the discovery that if he connects his chakra to the sharingans with his puppet strings he can get them working and also allow the puppets to copy the ninjutsu of their enemies although they would probaby fire right it away most of the time. He came across another problem as well, the puppets could run out of chakra fast if they started using jutsu like that and in fact they would start running out just because their sharingans were activated.
So Salem took small doses of his own chakra and started storing it inside of them to make them weapons of endless fire power that could adapt that firepower perfectly to their enemy. Salem would store some chakra and then wait for his own to replenish before storing more but it wasn't long before this knocked him out. He awoke later in the night (or early in the morning depending on how you look at it) to the sound of screams. He quickly looked out of his window too see a huge explosion cover a large building in town. Salem grabbed his puppets and readied for combat.
His first thought was that the Leaf shinobi had somehow infiltrated and were attacking the village but then he thought to himself how unrealistic it was that they could of found a way. When he got downstairs he noticed the door open and his father gone so he thought to himself: If we were being attacked then my father would have wakened me so this must be something he feels as though he doesn't need me for...of course! Wolf must of gotten loose. Once Salem deducted this all he could think about was finding Wolf before his father did so he could attempt to talk to him and get information in exchange for letting him escape, Wolf was in a desperate situation and Salem knew this was the best time to get whatever he wanted out of him. Meanwhile Wolf ran across the large buildings of the village blasting large fireball jutsus at the buildings behind him exploding them all as he went so he could use this is as a distraction and also keep the pursuing sand ninja from following directly behind him.
People were in the streets screaming and children grabbed hold of their mothers as Wolf moved very rapidly toward the main exit. Finally Wolf made it through the gateway and burst into the dessert. But Salem instead of chasing directly behind him like the other sand ninja he went straight into the dessert and went around to meet Wolf head on. Wolf disappeared into the dessert and thought he was scott free when he saw Salem standing infront of him with his arms folded and a serious look on his face. "I don't have time for you now kid, look you said you don't like this village and you want to be Uchiha right? well then come with me and I will make that happen, let me go" said Wolf.
"I will let you go but first you must tell me all of the secrets of the Uchiha clan, right now" replied Salem. Wolf nervoussly looked behind him and saw no pursuers so he pulled out a kunai and began spinning it at his side. "You nervous?" asked Salem still with his arms crossed. "That sounds familiar...and the way you cross your arms, and that serious look...you're Viron's son aren't you?" asked Wolf. "That doesn't really matter...are you going to take me up on that offer or not?" replied Salem answering his question with his own. "You don't know what your getting yourself into kid..." said Wolf and then suddenly Wolf formed hand signs and yelled "Wind Bullet jutsu!" he sent several wind bullets at Salem.
Salem noted their speed and power he knew this wasn't something he could dodge easily so he pulled as thick of a wall of sand as he could which drained a lot of chakra from him but a few of the bullets still got through and sliced through his clothes and his skin a little. Salem dropped the sand and quickly unwrapped his puppets Riku and Axel. But when the sand dropped he noticed Wolf was missing. He quickly pulled his puppets to his sides making sure he was not leave any openings. He had placed explosives and trip wires underneath the ground prior to Wolf's arrival before him so he knew Wolf was not underneath him. he looked up and saw 3 shadowy figures falling toward him. They were shadow clones and as they grew closer he saw their were many more of them.
Their were at least 50! they all came down on him at once and he battled them with his two puppets. He managed to destroy them all easily when the real one finally emerged among them and yelled "Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" Wolf shot off the fire style jutsu and the fireballs spread out circling Salem. Salem quickly brought up more walls of sand to guard against the attack and this proved successful, barely, the dust from the impact flew everywhere but Wolf stood his ground waiting to see movement from the dust. When the dust cleared he saw something terrible, something that haunted his soul in that moment his eye's caught glimpse of it.
Sharingans! the two puppets both had sharingans. Then as his mouth dropped he saw the puppets making hand signs and then fire off the phoenix flower jutsu he had just fired. Wolf moved quickly attempting to dodge the fireballs and he managed to dodge them all but then backed up into a wall of sand. A sand clone of Salem emerged from it and grabbed him by the head. The sand started pouring into his nostrils and mouth suffocating him but Wolf managed to bring his kunai up and slice through the sand until he could get free. "What the hell are you!?" Wolf asked in terror. Salem appeared standing infront of him with his two sharingan puppets at his side but he didn't answer. "You're a monster" said Wolf. Salem only answered "And sadly your a dead man" this made Wolf angry to the point that his anger overcame his fear.
Wolf began swirling his left hand over his right and quickly formed a Rasengan. He then summoned two clones and sent them at Salem. They came at Salem full force and when he struck them down with his puppets they turned into sand and fell over his feet. Why would he use sand clones? Salem thought to himself. Then he heard above him "Water Dragon Jutsu!". Wolf shot a huge water dragon at Salem. Salem barely managed to dodge but then he found himself stuck. Of course...Salem thought...he was creating a thick pile of sand with those clones so he could then trap me in mud. "Harden!" Yelled Wolf from somewhere out of sight and then the mudd hardened keeping Salem from moving. Salem then saw Wolf running toward him with the rasengan in hand.
He tried to move his puppets but they were stuck too. Salem let go of his puppet strings and then made signs and created a giant wind shuriken. which he thew at Wolf causing him to divert his path. Wolf leaped into the air leaping to his right to dodge this attack. Salem took note that Wolf was in the air right above one of his hidden underground explosives and even though the explosion shouldn't harm Wolf from underground especially if he's in the air Salem knew it should be a good distraction. Salem quickly made the hand signs and set off the explosion. Sand spewed upward from underneath Wolf and covered his vision.
Wolf's rasengan disappeared as he covered his eyes. Then Salem pulled hard with his feet to break free of the mudd and then pulled his puppets out and leaped back to get some distance from Wolf before he lands. They both stood several feet apart staring each other down both out of breath when finally Wolf spoke up. "I didn't use my full power against your father because I knew even then I wouldn't be able to beat him, not while in the dessert anyway...I just ditracted him so my assassins could sneak in and achieve their mission but then you had to go and ruin that plan" explained Wolf. "What are you getting at?" Salem asked in a melancholly tone. "I'm not holding back anymore" Wolf replied simply and then began forming rapidly fast handsigns.
Salem held on tight to his puppet strings making sure he was ready to make a move. Finally Wolf stopped his signs and let out a loud ringing howl like a wolf. The sound vibrated through Salems skull and brought him to his knees in pain. "Thats a sound jutsu that I invented, now you know why I am referred to as Wolf Uchiha" explained Wolf who then formed a rasengan with one hand. Salem took note he did not make all of the motions with his hands to form the rasengan like he did before and he could only assume this was because he was no longer nervous and had confidence he would win with this jutsu. Wolf charged at Salem.
Salem's vision was blurred but he managed to pull his puppets infront of him to guard himself. Wolfs rasengan had a head on impact and sent Salem and his puppets flying over the dessert sand several yards back. He tried to get up but felt a rush of pain through his body. The vibrations from Wolf's howl were tearing his muscles apart. Salem looked up at Wolf who was quite a distance away but was approaching charging quickly toward him. He was surprised he survived that rasengan and was still conscious to tell about it. His mind was scattered and not clear but he came up with a plan. A series of moves that might work, he doubted this greatly since he was so disoriented but he decided he would fight til' the very end.
Salem formed hand signs and yelled "Quick Sand jutsu!" then suddenly a puddle of quick sand appeared in Wolf's path. Wolf mocked at this with a few verbal expressions and then easily leaped into the air leaping over it. Salem then twitched his finger causing his puppet Riku to fire a smoke bomb out of his mouth. The cloud of smoke covered them so Wolf could not see them. A patheticallly failed jutsu and now he tries to run away? he doesn't live up to his fathers name, Wolf thought to himself as he threw shuriken at the cloud of smoke and then formed handsigns causing them to multiply by 10. The shuriken rained down on the cloud of smoke and cleared it up. But when Wolf landed and the smoke was gone all he saw was the puppet Riku siiting their with several of the shuriken embedded in him.
Suddenly the puppet Axel appeared out of the puddle of quicksand behind him and fired a fire ball jutsu Wolf sensed this quickly and then quickly leaped into the air again to dodge it. That was very tricky, just like you're father but you are not you're father, thought Wolf. But then Salem jumped on Axels shoulders and leaped in the air toward Wolf. He then shot his own fireball jutsu which hit Wolf directly and blasted him nearly to pieces leaving what was left of him burnt to a crisp. It was a good thing Wolf truly couldn't dodge in mid-air because that jutsu was the last jutsu Salem could use, he was almost completely out of chakra.
Salem dropped to the ground after defeating Wolf but even in his half unconscious mind he knew his father would discover him their so he motioned for his puppets to hide under the sand so his father wouldn't find them while he was out and discover their sharingans were real.
