He simply said he sees no reason why she would love him/should be interested in him.Its Sasuke assuming that way.As far as his own feelings go he specifically said "I have absolutely no reason to love her"

Nope.Look I have no problem with SS but the only problem is that I still feel that he should not have done that brutal genjutsu,4 chapters before chapter 699.I dunno,overall I just dint like that scene.He should have been a little less brutal

Other than physical appearances her love for him wasn't addressed properly. She just wanted to save him from the darkness which she couldn't. What made me begin to dislike her char was when she lied to Naruto and herself then decided out of selfish reasoning to "try" and kill Sasuke. That is ultimately why I began to despise her char as a whole...

Well I didnt really think the fake confession was bad.He ultimate goal was to save Sasuke from revenge by killing him and she wanted to free Naruto off the burden she thought she burdened him with and she knew Naruto would never agree to dealing with Sasuke the way K11 wanted to
The intentions were good,just the plan was half assed.

SS had horrible development in part 2 all the way up to 698, everything changed after that though, after hearing Sasuke's point of view and seeing his change.

Too bad Kishi skipped 10 years later in an instant and we didn't get to see more of their positive interaction post 699.
