Sakura's seal / power

Did Sakura know there was a war that was going to happen, because other than that it makes no sense for to have not used her power before. We know that she had been storing it since the whole pain arc but refused to use it and she could have tapped into it to kill sasuke if she wanted to even before the jubbi she could have used it to help out . So if she didn't know something big was going to happen where she get to "show her true strength" would she have stored it for the rest of her life. Has Sakura been selfish with her power.

She hadn't gathered enough chakra to create the seal until recently. She said that in the chapter before she revealed it.

Please understand this is a kid's story, it doesn't have to 100% make a whole lot of sense.

Sakura isn't selfish or trying to show off. It wasn't ready to be used yet why won't some you guys get that and it was the perfect moment to show that she wasn't bluffing about that new power. Look Pain has been defeated so quit being curious about why she didn't use it that time I mean if she did then the village wouldn't deem Naruto as a hero b/c she would have nailed Pain with that power.

She was saving it because she didn't want to Stand in the sshadow of her male counterparts she not the type of girl to just sit back and heal, she never wanted that life...that's not what she came from a ninja less family for...she wants to be on top and prove that women are powerful, and she probably have some genjutsu or new jutsu that need power

Back then she couldn't help what she was b/c of the family she came from I mean her father is either 40 or 41 and he is still a Genin. I think her mother is a better fighter than him but still she doesn't have a clan like the others well take Lee and Tenten out of that category cuz I don't think they have a clan but they are skilled ninjas. And the part about Genjutsu she would be better with that too I mean what do you say that her Genjutsu deals with her name cherry-blossoms, and her inner self Inner Sakura? Here is what I came up with that she would done with those techniques (some I don't know to name just inform but sill):

1. Cherry-Blossoms that put people to sleep

2. Cherry-Blossoms that are use for cover or to distract them

3. Inner Sakura would do some damage or knock them unconscious

What do you think of these Genjutsu abilities that I came up for her?

Those Genjutsu are nice and they tie into medical ninjustsu, she will take it to the next level,not only healing the body but the mind too, But i think that she will develope genjutsu and have it be cherry blossom related. Most Genjustu are plant related, and she basically like a living cherry blossom tree. Oh and Thanks.

Kishi seems to be rushing a lot of things.

My personal theory is once you start saving the chakra for this seal you can't turn it off. You can either keep storing it or blow it but if you blow it you lose your seal progress. It's not like she could "pause" it to go be awesome somewhere then go back to saving chakra.

Girls are a mystery! Who knows what she's planning...

maybe the whole storing your chakra thing works like this. Tsunade shows her the seal then she stores whatever little chakra she as at the time. Then as time progresses, whenever she feels like she gotten slightly stronger (chakra that is) she stores it in that spot. Sorta like shes restricting her powers a bit.

Remember during the pain arc when pain crushes the leaf village, tsunade summoned her slug then tells her to disperse to all ninja struck down during fights and to heal them and stuff. Well she had a group of anbu with her around a circle of her making that gave the chakra she had through to katsuya to heal all those ninjas? Well maybe she can only release the seal at dire situations such as that.

I think Kishi always intended to give Sakura the Bindu (diamond seal on her forehead) because he knew from that get go Tsunade would have that power. Team 7 is sort of a copy of the Sannin, so giving her Tsunade's power was predetermined. I do have to admit, Kishi didn't do it smoothly though. For a long time he neglected Sakura's character and abilities development. I noticed because I'm a big fan of Sakura even though people say she is annoying. I had hopes for her, and so it pissed me off when I noticed Kishi neglecting her. I wish he at least alluded to it in a subtle way.

But anyways, I'm real glad she's got something now. I hope it shows how she surpasses Tsunade though. I wanna see some chakra scalpel use during fights. Tsunade only managed to use the chakra scalpel once against Kabuto. Even Kabuto was better at it than Tsunade. If she can master great chakra scalpel combat, she would truly surpass Tsunade.

I don't think it was a 100% asspull for the reason that Sakuras Upgrade has been foreshadowed over and over.
We, have the Senju descendant speculation, besides naruto and gaara she's one of the only characters constantly told they were going to be *key to the ninja world.

As for her actual powerup debut, The timing and the reason behind why she was stalling is the biggest Asspull of the chapter, the actual ability eh not too surprising....At all.
