You know, it could just be because purple really clashes with her character design in as a whole and it wont really stand out as much as it does on tsuande with that purple color, because it's generally to close to the color of her hair. But do we even know the color of Tsunade's seal? from the manga... but green makes her love beatiful and it symbolizes medical chakra (which she exceeds in)...and it goes with her namesake the whole cherry blossom thingy and her eyes. If it was totally white it would look the best though, but it wouldn't look when from afar.

Well, coming back to the subject, because I feel the need to clear things up since I was the original poster with the whole White Strength seal. And for a good reason.
But it seems that with the newest release of volume 66, seems that a lot of confusion came along. So it seems that Sakura's seal is indeed, Byakugo as in 100.
In the original Jump release it was indeed Byakugo as in white, but it seems that in the volume they changed it with 100.
Volume 66 just came out in Japan, and so Sakura’s seal is in fact 百豪の印. Meaning 100 Strength Seal/ 100 Healings Seal. Whatever makes you happy.
I saw this and I wanted to make sure by getting my hands on the actual copy of volume 66 but I have to wait for a while for it.
I tried looking up for information and found someone say
“ジャンプでは「白豪」になっちゃってましたが「百豪」に訂正されてました”
"In Jump, it (百豪の印) turned into “White Strength”, but it was corrected to “100 Strength”.
This is a scan of Jump. It clearly shows that Sakura’s seal is 白豪 “white strength”

百豪の印 (びゃくごうのいん) is what Sakura’s seal canon name is.
So most likely, happily or sadly for other people it’s the same seal as Tsunade’s jutsu.
However, canonnically we still have Tsunade’s seal called 陰封印 [Infuuin] while Sakura’s is called 百豪の印 [Byakugo no In]
Hope everything is cleared, at least for the moment and hope Kishi will further clear it for us since it seems that originally, in Jump there was another version.
