There is no depth to that love. In NaruHina, she revoled around Naruto yes, but her character also had a reason to love Naruto.
In SS, there is no indication of Sakura falling in love with Sasuke other than that he looked good. Even as they split there was no monologue of her questioning her love and understanding why she loves him. It was pretty cringeworthy.

Why are some people so stuck up on why she loves him? Kishi never expanded on her reason for loving him, but her love for him is a huge part of her character and it reflects positively on her character in a sense that she never wavered. People bash her for it but I view it as loyalty to a friend and a dear person, it did pay off in the end did it not?

It started as a crush, but then they became teammates it grew and she started to really care for him. Knowing the "reason" for her love is pretty pointless at this point as she proved that her love is genuine on many occasions and that's all that is needed. Two people that genuinely love each other can have a family, obsessing over the reason for that love is not necessary.

Two people learn to LIKE each other by looks alone, yes this happens all the time, yet they don't fall in LOVE because of their looks.

They fall in love after that because the other person shows himself to be understanding and kind of the other.Sasuke cared for her in Part 1 and his forehead poke is something Itachi used as a trademark of how he strongly loved Sasuke as a brother so him falling for her is understandable

Sasuke this, Sasuke that. Yet he never once told Sakura how he felt about her, truthfully. Nor did she ask herself why she loved him other than that he looked good.

It's not pointless to have a reason to love someone. Basing it on genereal care is weird, because neither Sakura nor Sasuke talked about how they feel about one another, or their general feelings for themselves.

we will see, since Kishi himself cannot explain how it happened to begin with, it's probably gonna be OOC af.

he didn't red pencil the novels just made some drawings for them, remember that it's totally someone else writings and it seems to be romance centered like a lot, so yeah i'm really worried for his character...

not every Sasuke fan like her and it's quite comprehensible, sorry but yep it's some kind of destruction for him but oh well, maybe you think he deserved someone like her, that's not my opinion.

It's not that Kishi cannot explain it, he just didn't explain it yet, just like NaruHina, but then SP did their movie and got his approval.

The same thing will happen here with SasuSaku.

Loving someone and starting a family does not destroy Sasuke's character. It actually strengthens it as it shows that he overcame his hatred and managed to rediscover love.

This is my beef with SasuSaku as well. When you look at this pairing in the end you realize that most of this pairing was done by Naruto. It kinda makes it seem a bit iffy to me. I mean even Naruto has a reason of why he went so far for Sasuke, yet Sakura does not? It kinda makes you feel something is missing in this love story.

He said he was thinking of a story for SS after Sakura's va voiced her displeasure.Also NaruHina was explained by a movie done by Studio Pierott which Kishi simply edited the script here and there.Kishi himself never explained NaruHina.Last interaction was 615

Naruto said Hinata's name 70+ times in the movie in 112 minutes.How many times has he said her name in 700 chapters?
Therefore SS can't possible be more cheesy than this movie.The writer is NOT Kishi and hence I have high hopes it will be done right

This is not surprising as Sasuke showed great qualities in part 1 when he protected Naruto and Sakura on numerous occasions including the forest of death and chuunin exams. She was there with him when he first faced Orochimaru and she experienced firsthand the beginning of his dark path, but her love never wavered and she endured until Sasuke came back. I find that respectable.

Sakura had a crush on him and Naruto was his friend in-denial, with time Sakura's feelings grew into love, and Naruto's bond of friendship grew stronger.

2 separate characters, each with a different role in Sasuke's life, don't mix.

Redeeming qualities of him saving her does not really illustrate why you should love someone. Protecting a teammate is not important in the Ninja world, as most shinobi do that anyway.

The feelings had to grow into something less superficial, and that was never shown.

She loves him for looks and it becomes true love after she sees Sasuke's life and the reasons as to why he was doing what he did.Its really not that complex
