Considering she blitzed both Kaguya and Shin catching them both off guard, many people complain and say its not logical.

However if you look at the mechanics of blitzing AND factor in Sakura's CES it is completely logical that her speed blitzing is on par with the best.


Shunshin works by controlling chakra in one's feet to enhance speed. This can be done by expelling the chakra OR using the chakra to vitalise the body (enhancing the muscles)

Considering Sakura is master Medical-nin AND has perfect chakra control to the point of enhancing Juubito's dimension portals. I can honestly say that Sakura should have no problem regulating her chakra and strength in her legs to excel at speeds so fast no one can detect her.

Sakura has already proven to us that CES can be applied to the legs. So instead of expelling it to cause devastation what's stopping her from using it to enhance her synapsis and leg muscles for fast twitch sprints or blitzing

It's time people realized that Sakura is a BEAST.

As said before, I feel that both attacks (Kaguya and Shin) were due to them being caught off guard. Though Kaguya's was more of a tactical combination. You'll see that throughout the manga, a surprise attack is very likely to be the reason for a victory. I consider 2 types of "surprise attacks": One where ninja A doesn't even know they're fighting ninja B (such as Kakashi killing Kakuzu's first heart), and where ninja A gets outplayed by ninja B (such as Zabuza tricking Kakashi and trapping him in water prison the first time they fight). Shin was an example of the first case and maybe the second case since Kaguya didn't truly focus much on Sakura in her fight. She feared the seals among all else.

Your idea behind chakra control still has merit, as shown in the scans below. I would assume she only improved her shushin abilities over the time skip.

I also want to point out that the Byakugan does not make one immune to these surprise attacks. We have seen times where they are surprised when an enemy appears behind them.

Sakura's stunt on Shin is as much of a speed feat for her as Himawari's is "blitzing" Naruto. and Himawari's would be more impressive since base Naruto >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Shin in reflexes.

Shin isn't a super villain though, he at best is an interlude who's realistically isn't in the same stratosphere as Naruto or Sasuke. He simply took advantage of their weakness in addition to having secret weapons (techniques) and with that being said... Sakura simply strategically played her cards rights (as Shin did) and had the right amount of speed to evade being perceived by shin.

He was blitzed.

In that picture(middle left and bottom right panels) Kaguya saw one of Naruto clone trying to attack her from behind and she not even looking at that clone but still manage to block that attack using her hair. So what is the case here?

Kaguya was trying to dodge naruto and sasuke's attacks that's why she couldn't dodge Sakura's attack while focusing on Naruto and Sasuke

People would argue that Juubi hand had a head start while Sakura was starting from static position but that not mean much

Sure she manage to outspeed Juubi hand speed for a shorter time but looking at the whole picture the drag race will be won by Juubi hand.

So not really an absolute outrun for Sakura.

Even if we take that feat and apply it to the situation where she surprise attack Kaguya, the speed actually too slow. So that speed feat is not that great or good to be use in VS match.

at the end of the day it's all PLOT and scenario because some characters are secondary and not needed all the time in the panels like stupid decorations.

that's the case for Sakura in both situations and it doesn't turn her into a badass with godlike powers at all since she's not like that with 100% of her opponents and/or 100% of the fights (for example she wouldn't have win against the puppet master without the old granny using her like a weapon for sure, again plot and scenario play here).

Sakura is good for medic stuff and destroying the land/some clones/puppets, she's not a 1VS1 fighter and i don't remember a single fight in the manga where she won all by herself unlike Sasuke or Naruto for example.

i mean it's obvious and not the first time it happen in the manga.

imo Kishimoto/Ikemoto created those scenes to make her appear again because she was irrelevant for too much time before (with Kaguya she was afraid and Kakashi was saving her ass and then helping Obito, with Shin she wasn't near the scene but in hospital) or doing nothing good, doesn't make her great but it give relevancy and time screen to the character.

also Sakura benefited from a surprise effect in each situations, she was not expected and that's how it was written for sure because the reader didn't expected her to jump into the fight since she was nowhere to be seen and so did the opponent she punched.
