Sakura's growth as a ninja is really impressive.

I know a lot of you hate Sakura, but in my opinion her character is often misunderstood. Let's follow her since the beginning of the series.

Academy, T7 and CE.
She was one of the few rookie that didn't have ninja parents (we don't know about Lee and Tenten though, so Sakura may actually be the only 'normal' girl). Everyone had something - Ino, Shino, Choji, etc. - their clan jutsu, Sasuke had Katon, Naruto learnt Multiple Shadow Clones thanks to his heritage. Sakura had nothing because there was no one to teach her...

Later, she ended up with Sasuke and Naruto in T7. Sasuke with one of the most overpowered KKG in Narutoverse, Naruto with enormous chakra reserves thanks to his Uzumaki heritage and with Kyuubi power. While Sakura was just an Academy graduate...

But okay, they had amazing Kakashi as their teacher, right? But hey, Kakashi was a total ***** and completely ignored Sakura. He didn't teach her anything, even though he knew she was just a fresh kunoichi.

Jiraya, Tsunade and Orochimaru.
Okay. Sasuke got his Cursed Seal, awakened 3T. Naruto got Gamabunta, Rasengan. Sakura was left alone in Konoha.

During the timeskip - Sasuke becomes a boss under Oro's guidance. Naruto learns nothing at all. Sakura finally found someone who could spend some time training her. And look. CES, great healing prowess, remarkable evasion skills, herbalism and poinson knowledge. With NO genetic heritage, NO KKG and NO Bijuu or things like that.

Further chapters.
Sasuke's training becomes simply upgrading his overpowered eyes - MS, EMS, Juugo chakra etc.
Naruto gets taught Fuuton, learns Sage Mode - all thanks to his enormous chakra reserves.
While Sakura? Neglected again by Kakashi and Yamato. They didn't even think for a second about training Sakura in the elemental department. But she was steadily and slowly filling up her Yin Seal.

Okay. War time. Sasuke has EMS, Naruto has Kyuubi's chakra. While Sakura has only what she learnt on her own. No free power-ups, not given power - Byakugou, Katsuyu and everything else she had prior to that point.

Now, I always hear the bullshit that people hate Sakura because she said that she kept up with Sasuke and Naruto. The the fact is that SHE DID KEEP UP WITH THEM. It's not her fault that she wasn't given additional sources of power that alone let Sasuke and Naruto solo 99% of the NV and that Medical Ninjutsu are often overlooked and not taken into consideration. In terms of personal growth as ninja she isn't any worse than Sasuke, let alone Naruto. With Sharingan or with the ability to shorten her training process with Multiple Kage Bunshin, Sakura would most definitely achieve much, much more.

So I think it's time to stop hating on Sakura, because with what she was given throughout the whole story, she ended up as a pretty strong ninja. Also, mind you that she is a Medical Ninja - and Medical Ninjutsu will always come first for her.​

- Kizashi Haruno, her father, was in fact a ninja but is an eternal genin.

- Naruto didn't learn shadow clone jutsu from heritage, he learnt it from the sacred scroll that he stole because Mizuki told him to.

- Naruto didn't get his enormous chakra or kyuubi from heritage, he got them both as 'gifts' if you will from Minato.

- Kakashi taught all three of his genin how to walk up tree's so he did teach Sakura something AND he didn't teach Naruto anything, he only assisted in training Naruto well into Shippuden, this was in order to perfect his new jutsu which Kakashi only did because of special circumstances, I.e The Akatsuki threat, (Ninetales being stolen).

- Sasuke didn't awaken 3 tomo sharingan from Orochimaru's guidance.

- Naruto's training in the time skip was primarily geared towards controlling the Ninetales, so he didn't learn the plethora of jutsu that Jiraiya had at his disposal but he learnt the Odama rasengan anyway.

- Sakura technically started training medical ninjutsu a fair while before the timeskip, ep 141 in fact.

- Having Bijuu has nothing to do with learning chakra enhanced strength, medical ninjutsu or acquiring herbal and poison knowledge.

- Having huge chakra reserves has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH LEARNING SAGE MODE. Naruto learnt it from training hard for it and because he had natural potential for it, but this natural potential had nothing to do with his heritage nor his chakra reserves especially considering that Minato was horrible at using toad sage mode and could only sustain it for about 5 seconds.

- Kakashi and Yamato didn't think to train Sakura in the elemental department because she didn't have an INSANELY POWERFUL ORGANIZATION TRYING TO HUNT HER DOWN FOR THE BEAST INSIDE OF HER LIKE NARUTO.

- Naruto's power was not given to him on a silver platter like you say it was, first he had to defeat Kurama in combat in his own psyche, then he had to befriend something that considered itself the embodiment of hatred in order to unlock its true power (Kurama).

- You say she kept up with Naruto and Sasuke but she didn't, she never reached their level of power and never will, simple as that. But of course there gifts from Hagoromo were just plain handed to them, but that still doesn't change the fact that they are still ahead of her even if they didn't work hard to get it.

In summary, it is true Sakura cops too much hate, but frankly, she is kind of an annoying character (opinion shared largely among Naruto community), and her fanbase is even more annoying because of all the baseless claims they make to try and make Sakura look like she is the best character and ninja (yes, also opinion). And of course she is still easily a top 50 ninja but I disagree that she would do much better than Naruto or Sasuke if she was born with the gifts either of them had because in reality, she really got to stay in the village and train with Tsunade nearly the whole time she started training with her, which is why shes an exact copy of Tsunade. Yes her growth as a ninja is still very impressive, but trying to take Naruto and Sasuke's growth away from them is not fair and makes very little sense.

Wrong. Having huge chakra reserves IS REQUIRED to learn how to gather Senjutsu chakra. Also, huge chakra reserves allowed Naruto to shorten the training time with KB.

It was the moment he was born.And his normal reserves are 3 times greater than Kakashi's in base which is heritage

Actually the larger your reserves are the harder it is to learn sage mode.He learnt it in a week which Jiriaya and Oro couldn't master in a lifetime.He also sped up the procedure thanks to his shadow clones which he could again do because of large chakra reserves otherwise he would never learn sage mode that fast
