Only in part 1 was this acceptable because they were young. Sakura is suppose to be on her way to becoming the next Tsunade but shes out here on the battlefield forgetting how to breath and shit. The damage control is insane, I'm still awaiting the day Kishi offs her on the manga.

It's not as if she could of have moved or done anything at all if Madara attempted to kill her. You have to realize that she was completely exposed and defenceless, she was stuck to Naruto. It's kind of pretty obvious that you are going to scared out of your mind when even someone as powerful as Minato gets completely fodderized.

Other than that, I found it odd as to why Madara didn't target the medic when she was right there, keeping Naruto alive. Yet he was wasting time on others. Odd and illogical; so unlike Madara.
