The fact that this is a Japanese manga and in Japan the circle represents the sun? Yes in other cultures and even astronomy the circle can represent a full moon but in this case it is symbolizing the sun

but most hinata fans i debate or talk with uses mostly fanfic to prove point.

It's really not hard to decipher, Sasuke represents Indra, darkness, yin and the moon. Naruto represents Ashura, light, yang and the sun. That's why Sasuke has the crescent and Naruto has the circle.

Also it's not irrelevant to the topic it explains why Sakura and Naruto both have circles on their clothing, it's representing the sun of spring (Haruno) and Naruto's yang balance.
