But you're assuming the chameleon is going to attack in the first place. If Animal Path is going to use the chameleon to stay hidden then Nagato will not allow the chameleon to get anywhere close to Sakura or Katsuyu. Animal Path can use other summons for offense.



That would only work if Animal Path, upon seeing Katsuyu pour itself onto the floor as a liquid, stupidly leads the chameleon onto said liquid, which it has zero reason to do. The chameleon can simply avoid the goo and let the other summons attack, whether by backing away from it, or scaling a wall/tree, depending on the location.

That is irrelevant. You stated that the dogs cannot separate unless they were hit. My scan refutes that claim. And I have already posted a scan of Animal Path summoning the Cerberus already with 3 heads, meaning they can separate from the moment they are summoned without being hit.



No it is not, because it has no feats of restraining anything that did not want to be engulfed by it, much less something as big as the Cerberus.



That doesn't make any sense. It's a giant slug that can willingly disperse parts of itself around, and turn itself into liquid. Most of its body is made up of fluids. The mere fact that it doesn't have any bones to break and had a body more suited to absorbing shock (how do you crush something that willingly turns into liquid?) could just as easily have been the reason that it survived Shinra Tensei. That in no way proves anything about it actually being physically strong.

You say that the ANBU are weak in an attempt to discredit the Cerberus breaking out of their attempt to trap it, yet the only real evidence you have of Katsuyu being able to restrain Cerberus is it engulfing regular humans who never made an attempt to break free from it in the first place. The Cerberus' feat is still better as we know for sure it can't be restrained by jutsu from multiple ninja higher than Chunin but lower than Kage level, whereas in your case, we can't even say for sure that Katsuyu can restrain a target via engulfing it.

Again, no one who was engulfed by Katsuyu ever made an attempt to stop her from engulfing them. Therefore we can't say for sure how difficult it would be to break free from being engulfed, or if there's difficulty in doing so at all. In fact, scenes like

where people like Shizune and Ino are casually exiting Katsuyu would imply that there isn't any difficulty involved in breaking free, or that the difficulty involved is negligible.

That the point though, the chameleon if it ever decided to attack would have to come onto the foothold. That's what I was drawing reference to not if it was hiding. The chameleon won't be able to dodge the acid if it is on the foothold in my scenario because katsuya is everywhere the acid can come from anywhere. Sakura has no reason to leave the foothold when all the animals are charging at her. All the ones except the cerberus and the bird will be easily taken once they come on the foothold by acid, as they have no choice if they are fighting sakura they have to go where she is as she has no problem staying there plus katsuya can move with her if need be.

But was your first arguement not that cerberus can be summoned with multiple heads?

I was simply showing you that it is only summoned with one and that it can only split after it's damaged. Meaning that once it has aquired multiple heads it can do it but it cannot do it off the bat just because, for the fact that it was not damaged in the first place to get more heads.

It does make sense for a liquid thing as you might call it to nor be able to keep itself together when great force is applied. Mei being punched by a susano arm = the force of shinra tensei?

It's charging. If something is retraining a dog that walks on all fours on the ground how can it over power katsuya? Wouldn't it just be able to flail?

The anbu are weak though and that doesn't really change the fact it could break the container, as you said it was able to break through the building.

I don't see ino or shizune casually exiting katsuya in those scans. I see katsuya detaching herself from a stable Ino and Shizune. As katsuya is wiggling. Even in the anime we see it that way and
