She needs to understand that she's a fodder and it's better if she just explains medical jutsu and what not.

i think its a step up for her character as she shown that she can fight against madara despite the danger that he presents, so by her attacking madara kinda gives reassurance that she won't be held back by her fear

But what I love most is the fact some people think Sakura would beat anyone.
She's garbage as a ninja. Only her medical jutsu saves her from being utterly and completely worthless.
She could've destroyed Madara's eye. She didn't.
She could've killed sasuke when she had the chance, she didn't.
She could've done many things but didn't.

I have never laughed so hard. In my entire life, and the fact that she just dove at madara in a ridiculous attempt to impress someone who was going to kill her just puts the icing on the cake. I mean she could have at least thanked naruto for his concern, but more importantly as soon as she showed up she could have discussed a strategy with naruto and sasuke to determine what they found out about madara's fighting style and abilities and how she could be of assistance. But no, she just dove in...like a fool. This is one of the reasons sakura critics exist.
