If Naruto and sasuke, descendants of the so6p, have trouble with elemental techs, what makes you think Sakura, who is not from any clan, could?
To add on to what Reflection said a while ago.
Sasuke did not have trouble with elemental techniques following his mastery of Katon element as a child. From there, he quickly mastered the Chidori (Raiton) and took it further than Kakashi ever did.
And of course Naruto had difficulties learning an elemental technique. Do not forget that one of the main recurring themes of the series is about working hard to overcome obstacles, and that it has to be constantly demonstrated through Naruto. His bloodline, story-wise, had nothing to do with it (it wasn't even revealed at that time).
Do I even have to touch up on the "clanless" argument? :sy:

Besides that, I also looked up
your suggestion about Kishi's "God's Seat" hint pertaining to Sakura, as I was a bit skeptical myself. Turns it you're likely right:

As other people have already pointed out, Kishi saying "God's Seat," if not a deliberately ambiguous hint (which it probably is), is likely a mistranslated statement, as often happens when Japanese names are put in translation programs and posted online.
So if that Jump Festa interview was legit as you yourself claimed, Sakura is unfortunately guaranteed to get her time to shine.
