When I first thought to make this thread, I was going with the idea that Hinata must die. Why? Because I just don't see Naruto and Hinata having a happy ending ... not unless there is heartache that brings them together...cue Sakura sacrificing herself to save ... Hinata! Why? Because she recognizes Hinata's feelings for Naruto and realizes she'll never have the one she lusted for (Sasuke) and she'll realize it isn't fair (well love ain't fair anyways) to turn her heart to Naruto as her plan B, while Hinata loved Naruto all the while. So, Sakura will go out like a boss to save Hinata. Naruto will will have mixed emotions because he doesn't want neither to die, but one had to in order for the other to live. I could throw Sasuke in this somehow too, maybe to show how truly evil he STILL is, perhaps he could step in and prevent Sakura from having to sacrifice herself for Hinata, which would allow both girls to live, but instead -- Sasuke just allows Sakura to be slaughtered. (This would be one of most defining moments of the series...Team 7 is officially, forever shattered!!!) Perhaps we get panels where it keeps flashing back from past to present, where Sakura is remembering everything she's experienced from the beginning up until her death and in contrasts, she sees how cold Sasuke really is and as each moment before her death passes, she loses more and more faith for saving Sasuke, but is also at peace with the thought of Naruto and Hinata being happy together. And her final thoughts/words could be...
