They chose not to get involved due to wanting to betray the real shin
Fight was to fast/intense for the little shin to get involved in
Shin or Sakura told them not to butt in

Even if sakura did have to deal with them, The way she dealt with them is unknown in the manga thus the anime version will always be "what if" fillers.

I know that, i'm just letting him know that he cannot say Hinata V Pain is the same situation because we saw the entire thing on panel.

If they filled in the fight we did not see in Sakura V Shin. It's a completely different situation. This is because we literally do not know what happened.

When the anime goes over things that were flat out stated and done in the manga completely that's another story. Or contradict feats that are realistic based on the manga..

Sakura vs Shin was also off panel. It started 7 vs 1 and ended with Adult Shin and Sakura.

So them showing how Sakura rekt the kids is 100% canon.
