Alright then don't waste my time lol. I'm talking about reaction speed used here on the forums, I'm not talking about neuroscience dude, trust me I know what you're talking about that's my field, but that's not what I was replying to.
If you truly understood neuroscience, you wouldn't have laughed at the idea of mental reactions, esp. when many techniques in the NarutoVerse only rely on mental reactions in the first place. Even then, what he said was not false. Sakura mentally processed Kaguya's fist and perceived it's speed, but wasn't fast enough to dodge. This has been seen such as Sasuke's battle with Lee where he could mentally process and perceive Lee's speed, but didn't have the physical capabilities to dodge it. He only presented that point to indicate that since Sakura can perceive higher levels of speed, Kimimaro's bones won't even come close to blitzing her and considering she managed to start physically reacting to Kaguya's Chakra arms, then she should be able to evade Kimimaro's bones.
Second of all your last sentence is useless, no shit if you don't mentally perceive something first, you wont be able to physically react. But just mentally perceiving something IS NOT reaction speed. Reaction speed is a physical category of speed.
Mentally perceiving something impacts reaction timing which is a factor in reaction speed.
Not sure why I'm going over this because I was specifically going over mental reactions, not actual reaction speed.
