Now we all know, Sakura is definitly no where near the same level as Sasuke or Naruto - mainly due to the fact that for some reason - Kishi doesn't like his female characters, lol.

But this is exactly the same situation that Tsunade was in when she took her Kage Role.
She was seen as weaker in comparison to Oro and J-man - which is correct - she was -
But now after seeing Tsunade in the war - with her abilities of regeneration she is extremely powerful

Now how this translates to Sakura:

Really easily actually, When Tsunade First innitiated her Yin release Creation Rebirth - she stated that the only time a medical ninja could actually engage in battle - according to her rules, was if that person knew the 'Yin:release' Technique... Foreshadowing anyone?

Afterall the technique makes the user virtually invincible while active...
Her statement leads me to believe that ANY medical ninja can LEARN the yin:release technique - IMPORTANT -Even though Madara stated her ability was similair to that of Hashi's regeneration technique - her grandfather
Afterall - theres a reason Sakura's forehead is so big

With this ability Sakura will turn from a pathetic and weak character - to an almost unkillable being - extremely similair to that of Tsunade.

This theory is further reinforced as we see the parallels between Sannin and Team 7 (original)
Sasuke = Oro - Seeking power - amazing power
Naruto = Jiraiya - Master of Sage Mode
Sakura = Tsunade - Master of strength, medical ninja - and eventual master of Yin:release.

This technique alone wont mean she's the most powerful ninja - but she will definitly be above the average Shinobi that we have seen - especially the konoha 11 and therefore is undeserving of all the underestimation that she receives!

But on the topic i understand what you mean, all the female characters except Mei all have something in common not having flashy attacks that look beast or get any screen time in massive 1 vs 1 battles. Sasori and Sakura was a exception but in that battle what Jutsus do you remember that were performed by Sakura. With Itachi and Saskue you remember Kirin and with Pain vs Naruto you remember several things e.g. Wind Style Rasen Shuriken.


Overall she hasn't been given any cool Ninjutsu

She would really benefit from something like Iron Sand + Magnet Release and Thunder Release Kekkei Genkai (combined Wind and Lightning) a blast that's flashy, devastating and travels at the speed of sound.

Lol oh wait i'm getting carried away with what powers i would want if i was in the Naruto Verse

Just a foreshadow - she taught Sakura - and then she mentioned that others can learn it - and can only join a fight if they know the technique...how else is sakura gonna be of any use with that huge strength

Tsunade was pretty much training Sakura to be the next her...

Her medical abilities surpassed the whole Hidden Sand village and their legacy figure: Chiyo. She could be weaker than Karin in combat and that still makes her valuable in several ways. Once Sakura utilizes more medical equipment into her fighting style (in addition to things like her sleep bombs and poisonous kunai), I'd reckon she'd become even stronger. Maybe learn a genjutsu or 2 but that seems less likely.

She took out three guys from Konoha 11 using some sleeping gas bombs. She is also the most intelligent out of her squad between her, Naruto, Sai/Sasuke. Learning mitotic regeneration is unlikely because Sakura does not have the same amount of stamina as Tsunade.

yin:release is necessary before the creation rebirth tech

the yin release is the release of the mark on her forehead - creation rebirth uses the extra chakra to hasten the production of cells

Sakura is the leader of the medical corp. name one living shinobi with better medical jutsu other than the kage and she's still young and very intelligent, and she can counter almost any venom plus makes stong postions she's like an alchemist. Iam not a huge sakura fan either

i agree with you on the fact that i think for the first time in her life, Kishi has potentially foreshadowed a couple of things that we could see out of Sakura. If we actually see them....thats a whole nother story. I dont think however Sakura could learn mitotic regeneration, but i am hoping that she either knows more than Kishi has shown us (Like Tsunade and Shizune have literally taught her everything they know) or Sakura is finally about to shine! Her character is getting better, shes always been my fav but i could see why ppl would have an issue with her. I personally say i hope that Tsunade being able to hit Susano could foreshadow that Naruto might need or get Sakura's help during the Sasuke fight (which better still happen). Im happy though she is going to have a big role in the movie, and the movie coming out ties in with the manga, so hopefully we will see more out of her!
