Sakura is useless. This is not hate. It is the Truth.
Since I'm seeing many people being offended for nothing I didn't call her useless in this thread. I said that for me Shizune is more useful. And if you don't know then you somehow agree with OP.

So the main problem is that Sakura doesn't help with anything in the plot currently but she was considered a main character 400+ chapters ago.
Since Shippuden she isn't even one of the main characters. There are only 2 after all. I didn't ever see any Sakura arcs. I saw Sasuke many Sasuke arcs, but Sakura? no. Not a single one. Except that fight with Sasori. Okay big deal she was one of the 3 main characters of the first part of the series. She has to get some panel time. But after that nothing.
So why is it such a big deal. If we started talking about characters that don't help the plot proceed we would have to exclude most of them.

I don't think the point for Sakura is if she is useful or not.She is a medical nin and she is good on what she is doing.
The problem with her as a character is that from the begging she failed to respond to her role as a main character.
Compared to Naruto and Sasuke she never had a goal in her life.She was revolving around her obsession with Sasuke.Her decisions were always based on Sasuke's reactions.She lacks the will of power,that something that will make her overcome herself for a higher cause.
And since the series is revolving on characters that give everything to protect the people they love,their values and ideals Sakura seems not to be able to follow that pattern.She isn't useless,she is irrelevant.
And I believe that it's too late for Kishi to make damage control because her personality was from the beginning not responding to the heroine image.
