The outlook of Sakura's lineage was anything but special, a case people use to forward, and thereafter justify the claim; she has fodder genes. While that may be true, the outcome of her character ironically makes her more special, perhaps than those whose lineage or clan was generally viewed as the "top-dog" on the series. A non-sentimental description preferably would refer them as aristocratic, but that doesn't really change anything in regards to their place in Naruto's society. It does however, embellish Sakura's rise to a level capable of challenging those within these distinguished groups. Truth be told, Sakura wasn't suppose to get to level she is currently not only because of her lineage, but in addition, the author's perspective towards her. According to Kishimoto, Sakura wasn't suppose to be a heroine due to her less-than or equal-to-average popularity. Howbeit, during the course of the series, he realised Sakura's part was special, and it needed to be recognised through the induction of individuality. How did Kishimoto come about this? By having her achieved a technique through a method undoubtedly basic.
Not basic as per the fact it wasn't a difficult method. In a different light, basic in the sense that she didn't need to enact certain stages of execution, like Sage Mode, the Rasengan e.t.c. She simply channelled her chakra towards a specific point for three years.
Ironically, the results didn't pay homage to the fact Sakura's chakra was mediocre. In fact, it completely forgone the state of her reserves as shown during the war. Under normal circumstances, the aggregate from a series of additions whose base is supported by mediocrity should be mediocre. Contrariwise, Sakura's aggregate was wholly "un-mediocre." It turns out, as it should be, this goes back to what I have established, she's special, more or less near the boundary of "asspull" but special nonetheless.
Let's put this
Obito needed an enormous amount of chakra to traverse between Kaguya's dimension. The reason is because they (Kaguya's dimension) weren't his.
Naruto's clone volunteered his chakra. Obito outright stated it wasn't enough.
Sakura asked if the chakra from her technique would be sufficient to cover Obito's conditions.
Obito responded by saying, "that'll give me bare minimum" essentially vouching her request.
This was after she had used most of it to heal hundreds of people during the war. This was also part of the aggregate of chakra she accumulated from her mediocre reserves in three years.
Yet, it was enough to sustain Obito's space-time infiltration.
That has special written all over it!
This doesn't include the fact she learnt something exclusive in less than expected time and was able to force a consensus towards her importance on Naruto world.
Sakura didn't just inconsiderate the need of characters to be from noble clans, she modified the conditions of character evaluation. Furthermore, she solidified her place besides characters like Guy, and Jiraiya who achieved legendary status through hard work.
Indeed, she proved us wrong, and proved the author wrong as well.
