Sakura is an established main character, regardless of whether you like her or not, and not giving her a proper power up by the end of the series would betray the themes + influences of the manga and really just be bad writing on the author's part. Anyways...

The existence of Slug SM is probable as both Toad and Snake SM are canon, but Sakura mastering it might not make sense in the context of the story since Sasuke hasn't actually achieved it either. However, I do believe Sakura will soon gain the slug summoning contract in addition to mastering Tsunade's Yin Release/Byakugou (big forehead, remember?)

And don't worry lol Kishi has stated long ago that he will further develop Sakura after he gets done with the whole Kakashi/Obito affair. =DD

Cool idea, i think she would be perfect for Slug Mode, Sakura has mastery over chakra control, 10x better than naruto, so she could be a perfect sage!!, and since shes a medical Ninja and tsunades student, her punches would get a hundred times more powerful in sage mode, she'd kick ass!! - not to mention in Slug Mode she would have Super Regenerative and Healing abilities like the slug katsuya!!

Thats not gonna happen, because Sakura isn't a Senju or an Uzumaki. The Byakugou and the Sozo Saizei are dangerous to use.
Most likely she would die after her first battle xd

Well... we do know Sozo Saisei's side effects, however, Byakugou's ones have never been quite well explained. We do know about its regenerative powers, but not about the side effects...

The Byakugou is an upgraded version of the Sozo Saizei, so i think it has the same side effects.

I know it looks like it, because of the markings and so, but if you think at it, it was never quite good explained... But maybe we'll know about this in the future.

First of all, it isn't certain that something like a slug mode exists. If it does exist, it's more likely that Tsunade would be able to use it than Sakura.

To be able to train for Sage mode, one needs a large chakra reserve - Sakura doesn't have that. And Naruto giving her Kyuubi's chakra wouldn't work, because 1) he would constantly need to do that then when she would be training for it and afterwards whenever she wants to use it and 2) Kyuubi's chakra disrupts the Sage mode - Naruto couldn't fuse with Pa because of the interference of Kyuubi's chakra.

Sakura has great chakra control, but she doesn't have the large amount necessary to be able to learn Sage mode, let alone be able to use it.
