Anyone in Sakura position could have landed a hit, she was falling down, while Kaguya was flying up, distracted by Naruto and Sasuke. When she finally noticed Sakura, the momentum prevented her from successfully avoiding the attack. So of course she landed a hit, if she hasn't, there would be a serious problem lol
