here sakura is secretly happy at the possibility that sai might insult ino.

This is very shocking as it reveals the double nature of sakura. She is the kind of person that will smile at you and wave at you but burn will jealousy inside and wish that you get in a car accident.

Could it be that sakura never even considered ino her friend just as a person to be used for advantages? After all she kicked away their friendship for kindergarten crush on a boy who was never interested in her.

sakura also didn't once console Ino when her father died.

That whole sai thing was all comic relief, she figured if she was considered ugly to sai (which she doesn't think she is) that another pretty person, ino. Would also be insulted, not realising that sai had learned something between their last encounter.

Sakura is a very caring person but unfortunately she is caught up in some pretty selfish moments in the series which I can't deny. But I also can't deny the good moments.

1. Why would Sakura be jealous of Ino? Not only did Sakura marry the man she spent her life infatuating for, she had his kid.

2. Salura didn't rush to console Ino as soon has her father died becuase they were in the middle of combat but Shikamaru put it best:

3. What advances could Ino offer her? Sakura is renowned in the NV and she's also 100x stronger than her.
