If she wasn’t there, Naruto and Sasuke would of died in their battle, sure the cycle might of been prevented but the omen that they’d kill each other wouldn’t.

They would of died, kakashi can’t handle a rinnegan especially being worn out from war, the tailed beasts would remain sealed because only Sasuke could release the seal but he’s dead. The world would remain in IT.

Kakashi & Sakura would be all that remains until Toneri crashes the moon on them.

Then the Shiki trio comes, unseals the bijuu, unites chakra, captures Toneri, returns home & the end.

Let us be grateful.

Sasuke seemed to believe that Kakashi could handle the rinnegan. Also, normally a jutsu comes undone when the jutsu caster dies, so the chibaku tensei holding the bijuus might have crumbled had Sasuke died. Of course, that is only a maybe. Six paths chibaku tensei didn't come undone upon the deaths of Hagoromo and Hamura, but that version of chibaku tensei is quite special, requiring two six paths seals. Nevertheless, there are some other jutsus that persist post mortem such as amaterasu and edo tensei.

Well, even if the chibaku tensei didn't come undone after Sasuke's deaths, with Kakashi's ninjutsu and Sakura's brute strength, they probably could have eventually broken the rocks around the chibaku tensei with brute force, thus releasing the bijuus.


Well, if all else fails, Kakashi and Sakura could repopulate the earth, but that would be awkward and uncomfortable, so the human race would probably be doomed in this scenario, just as you said.
