I suggest you backread the manga again because obviously, you don't know what you're talking about.

At the end of "Sakura's Confession" Naruto told Sakura that he hates people who lie to themselves. Even Sai knew that Sakura was lying and commented on her affection/love towards Sasuke. Hell, even Sakura was thinking that she still can't do it after all this time while she was healing Karin.

I don't understand why you call her a gold-digger though. A gold-digger is someone who uses charm to extract money or goods from others -- and money/goods wasn't exactly Sakura's intention when she attempted to lie to Naruto.

After Sai told Sakura how much Naruto was suffering because of her, she wanted to stop him from going after Sasuke. She thought (as did Sai) that it was all for her Naruto was trying to save Sasuke, so she told Naruto she loved him and I know that she does (not romantically), and if he would have not noticed her lies, she most likely would have stayed with him just to keep him happy. She wanted him to stop suffering and would give him what he always wanted, her as his girlfriend. She never stopped loving Sasuke, but now it's not like the simple crush as a kid, it's not even romantic love imo, but more of a bond. I think all she wants is the Sasuke she did love to come back, not the evil one she tried to kill and vice versa.

She will always be there for Sasuke, and I think it would be cool if Naruto got Karin since she sort of liked him being the opposite of Sasuke.
