Kaguya's absorption isn't instant, as far as I remember. And the chakra isn't expelled by the fist, it's kept internal, which would be like absorbing the chakra out of Mokuton.

Plus she didn't even know Sakura was there, so she didn't even try.

That last part is speculation, nothing suggest that she didn't care about Sakura, if she didn't care she wouldn't have tried to kill her with her hands minutes before , and she knows of Sakuras strengths, she used it when her and madara was merged, and she had his knowledge , how else would she know of Indras Amaterasu

Sakura punching Kaguya and punch being effective is impossible:

1. Sakura is not fast enough but more importantly Sakura's super punches are just chakra that is being discharged. When Sakura uses her Shanaaro punches she is just releasing chakra so when she punched Kaguya. The chakra should have been absorbed much like Amaterasu.
