Makes me wonder what OD knows and hasn't said yet.

of course. down in japan SS is big and they're being fed these spoilers about little to no development to their pairing.
But also, the novel isn't released until the 3rd or 4th which makes me think if the person posting the raws is legit himself

Yep I saw it after chapter 699 and 700. Ended his great story there, and he got one manga panel with nothing to do. Literally Kishimoto said that he gave Sasuke a job so that he does not look like a side character anymore. Seeing how Naruto became Hokage, Sakura became a medic ... and Sasuke had nothing to his name because of his story.

Really he is on the side lines until plot calls for him at this point.

Expect one hit wonders (seconds) for Sasuke. I suspect though he will get sufficient screen time in the Boruto movie.

Nah. That does not sound like Sasuke at all, not to mention what he said in Chapter 699 about them working together (not just them, but Naruto's plan in which all shinobi cooperate). Kishimoto already said that Sasuke went out looking for answers on Kaguya. So that's what he is doing.

Her novel sounds like fun even with the sad tone of it. I wouldn't read it though, the same with that blasted Kakashi novel

Although more Sasuke is always good, this might be better as it shows Sakura's development outside of Sasuke which is what many haters complain about the lack of. Lol

In fact even today (In Sasuke's present time) he often thinks about Naruto, and what he represents as a whole. I believe strictly that Naruto and Sasuke are operating on the same path, but taking different roads to reach there. Naruto, who is reaching for an ultimatum for peace globally. While I agree with what you are saying, based on Sasuke's speech in 699 and how he travels, it seems like Naruto strives to achieve peace within the 5 villages while Sasuke is the one who seeks an ultimatum globally. (outside the 5 nations, in farther places)
