Sakura moved the plot foward.( Why she is relevant)

The confession:

Everyone hates her for this one, but that is exactly what Sakura wanted from Naruto. K11 came up with the plan to take down Sasuke, if they had, Sakura knew Naruto would have put all the blame are them so she took matters in to her own hands. She lied to Naruto because she wanted him to hate her. If Naruto hated her then when she killed Sasuke, Naruto would put all of the blame on Sakura and wouldnt feel bad about it since she had just lied to him. This is what she wanted.

You call her a *****? Well she wanted Naruto to do that. But he didnt.

How was the plot moved foward:

Because Sakura took matters in her own hands in trying to kill Sasuke, she brought team 7 together for that little battle after the summit. Sakura trying to kill Sasuke, Sasuke trying to kill Sakura, Kakashi saving Sakura, then Naruto saving Sakura.

What came from the battle?

-Sasuke finally agreed to putting in Itachi's eye. Do I have to explain why this is important?

- Naruto came to the conclusion that he and Sasuke would be fighting together.

This all happened because of Sakura and you cannot deny this.

Many people see that the confession and that whole part as pointless but I hope you understand now how crucial that was to the plot and how Sakura was crucial in making that happen.

Its right there in the scan, he did it because of that battle with Naruto. He was already feeling blind(after fight with bee) still didnt put em in.
