Sakura doesn't use Katsuyu unless she is healing so that's another hole in her unrealistic victory against a restricted akatsuki member.

The only jutsu that poses a threat that has not been tanked or avoided by less durable characters is the raiton or fuuton. Lee, with intel, will open the gates and blitz the raiton mask, and most likely the others since they have shit for speed or reactions. Sakura is enough to murk Kakuzu in CQC, especially with Neji helping.

Domu isn't even needed here. Sakura gets speedblitzed while Neji and Lee are fighting masks. Then once she has her heart ripped out, he proceeds to destroy the other two. Neji's 64 palms technique will only work to a certain extent, and Neji will have to worry about Kakuzu himself who is probably faster than him, and other masks. Lee doesn't get past Domu no matter how hard he tries.

Sakura isn't getting blitzed, especially not by Kakuzu's slow masks. Even early part2 Sakura was dodging Sasori's puppets easily. Kakuzu's hearts are slower. And they can't fly, Zexion. They can run, jump and die, but not fly.

I think gentle fist is a bad matchup already, with Sakura's constant fuels+op punches, Lee's distraction and Katsuyu the soloqueen the youngsters can pull it off.

Gian is also stated to be able to split off into numerous attacks and attack multiple opponents by the DB. One Gian could win the game.

The raiton thing is only in the DB, and one can count that as hype. Lee and Neji can avoid the raiton, but Sakura doesn't have the speed. But who says the hearts are even getting out? With intel, team one would want to finish this quick and would aim for the hearts on Kakuzu. In his base form, all he has is his threads and domu.

Early shippuden Chouji, Shikamaru and Ino are slower/have worse reaction rate than anyone in this matchup maybe barring Sakura(which is severely doubtful), don't see how they are in comparasion.

Why are people focusing on Sakura's speed to determine this battle? Kakuzu is no speedster and neither are the masks, even Ten Ten destroyed some of them in the war.
Sakura and Neji are analytic fighters, they will come up with a good way to get him.
Power, speed, Intel, and analytic skills are some of the attributes team 1 doesn't lack, and those are more than enough to defeat him.
