Comparing her to Kabuto and putting it as "compare her to other medical nins, say.. Kabuto." as if he just one of the random medics out there, is hilarious. It took two exceptional Uchihas, an edo one, to lose his eye to defeat him. Sakura hasn't been working for Akatsuki or Oro.

Nah I just skimmed it honestly, I don't really take these type of threads that seriously anymore. I feel like these topics are redundant and overused. Some of these topics have been discussed over and over and I don't feel like re-discussing them. Which is why I had nothing more to add.

Honestly? I would have have prefered it if Kishi had kept Tsunade's monsterious strength unique to herself and had not given it to Sakura.

What we got (to me) was just beyond retarded and made no sense.

You have Tsunade who at five years old was crushing rocks with her bare hands, she is naturally from the beginning incredibly strong. And then you have Sakura who surpasses that natural strength + enhanced to monsterous "strength" of a Kage-level kunoichi decended from Hashirama Senju and Mito Uzumaki... because she has "perfect chakra control".

That perfect chakra control is more OP than a f*cking mangekyou sharingan.
It gives Kishi licence to be lazy with Sakura, she doesn't have a complex or difficult (or particuarly lengthy) development in terms of fighting style and skill set - in fact having her use Tsunade's techniques alone means that it only needs to be explained once.

It's boring - and against her team mates; it doesn't compare, she can't compete and she falls so damn short - even if she's ahead of the other Rookies, that doesn't mean much when you consider they don't have Tsunade for a sensei (in the same way Sakura does) either.

Compare her with another med-nin, say... Kabuto? She's ridiculous.

What should have happened? Sakura should have developed her own style, THAT should have been her journey - because she isn't the underdog in any other (significant/meaningful) way.

She has parents, she has intelligence and does well in the Academy, she has a support system she can choose to use or throw away (Ino, parents, teachers), she has perfect chakra control, she has legendary Jonin sensei, she has a Sannin as master.

Everything is handed to her character on a platter. Even Sasuke.

I always laughed at how Tsunade's monstrous strength is being rivaled by just chakra control, despite tsunade having equal or similar chakra control :lol

But yeah it's a shame she never got her own style (lol shanaroo style). In part 1 I thought she would develop some offensive medical ninjutsu, like scalpels in combat or whatever tsunade was going to use to kill orochimaru....something to boast Sakura's intelligence and precision but it seems CES was kishi's ideal of this.....oh well Zzz

TBH it all goes back to sakura's character, sadly. Sakura had hype and potential to be far more than what we got, regardless of using genjutsu or not. She didn't need to be a copy-paste of another character, and her moves are far too comparable to tsunade. Overall it was good for Sakura to have tsunade's techniques (irc sakura still hasn't shown body pathway derangement, yes?) but she should have went farther with it, just like her teammates.....

Sakura doesn't know all of Tsunade jutsu. Tsunade Is one of the Sannin. Along with teachings from the 3rd hokage, she mastered several jutsu throughout her life. She has more chakra natures than Sakura and she is a much better Taijutsu user. I still view both of them as weak fighters against top tiers. Not really battle type shinobi, more like for the healing and caring of others. Hence, why female shinobi for the most part are medic nins -_-.

No. He's not a random med-nin, he's a significant one who like Sakura had a Sannin master - hence the comparison, it's hardly fair to use examples of med-nin who didn't - that apprenticeship counts for a hell of a lot, most evident in Sakura's character as she has almost zero skills outside what she's been taught by Tsunade.

Also, she's supposed to be a "main" character. Surely she should be able to hold her own, against the enemy, in her own field?

No, she hasn't been living the life of a missing-nin with Akatsuki or Oro.... she just had the support of Tsunade, Kakashi and Konoha village instead. I don't see why that would excuse her for coming up short in general.

She has all the feats which you so quickly downplay including healing the shinobi alliance using her Seal. She doesn't have to have something unique to be impressive. Mimicking the skill set of Tsunade and surpassing her in power becoming the strongest Kunoichi speaks for itself.

Bad in every way. Doomed her as a shitty support character. Sealed her fate as a classic Kishi female. She could've gone nearly any frickin path as Kakashi stated during tree walking training. Ofc that applies to everyone that has good chakra control but still. Born with a natural resistance to genjutsu. She could've been an Uchiha stomper.

First part of your post is just wishful thinking - I brought you facts of the newest databook, all you did is give me your opinion. Databook states it's taught and passed down to the main branch, period. Hinata didn't create it, she probably just figured out how to do it on her own.

Last part is a terrible argument - only Orochimaru and later Kabuto were seen using Edo Tensei, guess that means Oro invented it... oh, wait.
