lol I am not comparing her to Shikamaru or to Tsunade I am saying that she is not fodder, that she is more intelligent than others and stronger than others. Also chiyo says that she has the same power as Tsunade and it's not about healing wounds, it's about healing wounds without having to put your hand on them (look at the manga panel lol she just channels chakra around the wounds and heals it like that without having to make that chakra sphere around her hand) also Sasori admits that she is a really skilled Medic nin. That are manga fact lol

Yeah she was pretty useful then but after that it just kinda of went downhill really, she did nothing in the battle really against Orochimaru, then in the base with Sasuke and so on she's being portrayed a lot weaker now then when Shippuden started as she still freezes up against Sasuke and always shouts Naruto to help if the situation is to bad.

Now though most people don't think much of her because she hasn't really done anything exceptional in this war she's beat one Zetsu and was saved by Naruto but then again she is a medic.

But Kishi needs to show much more for Sakura.

The whole Sakura = weak idea gains most of its strength from the bandwagon effect. While she pales in comparison to Naruto and Sasuke, she hasn't had as much motivation or a true reason to become incredibly powerful. Maybe this will turn around once Tsunade dies.

OT:she's not a fodder,she's one of the strongest females in NV,her major role isn't in battles,it's her medical skills,and she's one hell of a doc

Well to be honest Sakura along with the rest of the Konoha 11 aren't fodder. It is only when compared to people like Madara, Naruto, or even Sasuke that they become shit...because Kishi said screw the K11 aside from Naruto and Sasuke. Team Asuma was done after the Hidan and Kakuzu arc, Team Gai was pretty important around part I....a joke in part II. Team Kurenai has never recieved any significant time (poor Hinata and Shino). Even Sakura despite being in the main group ends up on the sideline of the story.

Compared to average shinobi their skills make them above average, but they pale in comparrison to the antagonists and protagonists because they haven't been developed much if st all
