He said from the start there was nothing special about her and that she was a normal girl. She represents human weakness in Naruto. That is her job that Kishimoto made her for.

Some of you need to understand that, I have seen people say things like 'oh she just punched Kaguya's horn off so'

So Sakura is a normal girl who represents human weakness but she was able to hurt a god. That is a big feat for the girl with no special abilities and one who was not supposed to be special. You guys say you cant compare her to Naruto and Sasuke but then you guys do compare her to show how far behind she is.

Kishimoto had multiple opportunities to develop Sakura but didnt because she was his scapegoat character where he could say she is just normal and doesnt need to develop from that. All those multiple opportunities were given to other things which Kishi found more important to develop.

I know Sakura hardly has enough development for a main character and I will never say Sakura is the best written female character in Naruto but for what is written about her being this normal girl, she has developed remarkable well from that aspect.

One more thing Sakura got the last hit on Kaguya if some of you didnt notice.

My reaction to all this is Sakura is not as shitty has some Sakura haters claims she is. Everything you say is true, but just because Kishimoto designed Sakura to represent human weakness doesn't give her a "bad character pass" and exempted her from all the bullshit she pulls like the lie she pulls on Naruto or her unreasonable feelings toward Sasuke. There is a such thing as a bad person and Sakura is one of them.

I wouldn't mind if Sakura was simply a character who had 0 combat ability whatsoever, but provided a consistent amount of development to the story and had good character development. Someone like Pariston Hill from HunterxHunter, or Uta from Tokyo Ghoul.
