Sakura is totally relevant in this manga (100% Confirmed). Team 7 vs Madara upcoming.

It's time to be rational guy's so lets put aside our personal feelings for Sakura & elaborate on what we read today.

We can all agree about Kishi's fascination with parallels & as of right now there's one that really sticks out. RIN & Sakura.

Side note:

1). Remember that Obito has made a complete 360 in terms of his position in the battle 2). Not only did Obito betray Madara by siding with the shinobi alliance but he also stole power from Madara in order to protect/save Naruto's life 3). While having the heart to heart with Naruto we got to see the dynamic between Obito and Rin 4). Obito understands Naruto's heart & knows that he holds his comrades dear
(like he once did).

Back to topic, Team Kakashi is nearly a carbon copy of Team Minato Team Minato. Sakura is paralleled to Rin obviously so with being said lets make some educated or rational statements.

• Obito won't willfully hurt Sakura (Black Zutsu could be a problem)
• Obito will task Sakura with something meaningful (like when Rin Implanted his sharingan into Kakshi)
• Obito gave Naruto power right? He could very well give some to sakura, she needs it

We know that Kishi always has a reason for everything and Sakura being left in another dimension with Obito is foreshadowing something. But foreshadowing what exactly? I belive that Obito is going to pour his heart out to Sakura and really go into detail about what Rin meant to him, what she (Sakura) means to Naruto, the try to atone for his actions by giving Sakura power which she'll use to assist Naruto & Sasuke in their against Madara. Now I'm not saying that this power up will put her on teammates level exactly but I do thing it will shorten the gap between them. It's highly probable that Sakura's power up will revolve around her Byakugou Seal.

Plus, Madara doesn't seem phased even though Naruto & Saskue got impressive power up's​

I think Kishi has a reason for her being there as well. He usually has Sakura last, because he co-develops Naruto and Sasuke at the same time. Then right after a major event he gives her a small character boost, as far back as the Forest of Death where Naruto and Sasuke both got character development and then Sakura got a small boost in the same arc.

What was the point of that chapter in which Sakura said she has finally caught up with the rest of Team 7 when a few chapters later the boys get some awesome OP powerup she can't hope to compete with?
He might not pour his heart out to her about Rin, but he may try to give Kakashi his Sharingan and destroy his Rinnegan so Madara can't get his hands on it. Then maybe before he is taken over by Black Zetsu he gives Sakura a powerup.
