Notice what obito said. He didn't say no chakra of you can help unlike naruto. He said it's barley enough. Barley can be taken in multiple ways. I had barley enough to pay for my meal. I almost had enough but not quite. Sakura at a tired sate > naruto clone chakra (which is at tailed beast levels)

…not necessarily. Kishimoto was pretty clear about how the chakra system works, but most readers didn't follow it. Then later on, he kind of stopped following it himself. But going back to the original system, a kage bunshin doesn't really have half of the caster's chakra.

"A ninja's total chakra" was never actually a concept in the beginning. Ninjas made chakra on the fly to use techniques from spiritual and physical energy. There were two different concepts, which I call "chakra potential" (the total amount of chakra you can pump out throughout one battle) and "chakra capacity" (how much chakra you can hold in your body at once). Capacity << potential. You just make more chakra until you're physically and spiritually exhausted.

Kage bunshin have half of your chakra capacity (or less if more were made at once), which means that when you make a lot of them they don't have enough capacity to use techniques. Also, whereas the real body can 'refuel' from physical/spiritual energy, kage bunshin couldn't.

By contrast, the Byakugō seal is a chakra repository, containing many days' worth of potential that the user can draw on.

I think it's pretty plausible that the Byakugō seal could contain more chakra than a 1/2 shadow clone's capacity. And it doesn't mean it contains more than half Naruto's potential for the day.

But… I'm not sure why I've bothered saying this. Because while I think this is consistent with the system Kishimoto set up back in Part I, in Part II he's contradicted himself a thousand times. I think the real answer isn't "This is actually plausible", it's "Why are you expecting anything to be plausible anymore?"

First he said that Natuto alone wasn't enough. Later he said that they should both go with him. If Sakura was enough on her own, there would be no need for the clone to go with Sakura and Obito. It's the combined chakra between Naruto and Sakura that is barely enough to make the jump.

I'm not so sure about the 50-50 split thing as when KCM Naruto made 13 clones each of them were powerful yet the original still had more power and one clone got a bit of chakra frm Kurama and was able to make several more clones and deflect the deep forest emergence from Madara after using up his KCM chakra.
