Sakura is quite underrated

I have said the contrary in the past but now as plot advances, I have to agree that she is in the top 20. She isn't as weak as people says she is. She has no bloodline,is not a jinchuriki and trained hard to become a good female ninja like Tsunade.In three years, she became as good as tsunade if not better.

Healing ninjutsu
Forehead seal release(S-rank)
Fatal Brutal force
Good Intelligence(She is a chuunin)
and finally Main Character Plot Shield

I would say that she is a mid kage level. What are your thoughts?(Don't put emotions in this thread)

Dude when you have the greatest ninjas alive in the manga at the moment it's not a surprise that she is looked down upon what's more she lacks any appealing ninjutsu techniques,and that's what people are interested in.Its the same reason that lee and gai are so disliked.

Though having said all that, i think sakura is a decent female character and once she surpasses tsunade in all aspects then she will be more appealing character as a whole.

Sakura is a ninja who comes from an ordinary clan who possesses no kekkei genkai (as opposed to the Uchiha and Hyuga clan) or any special "hand-me downs". The very fact that she has reached her current level is astonishing. Has she even released her seal yet? Heh. I wouldn't place her in the kage level. I would place her in the high jounin level a best, mid jounin at worst.

Neji is a jounin, right? I think it all depends, but generally, they should be able to. The whole chakra nature business is a grey area.

She isn't underrated, she's mostly hated. She we'll always be seen as the fodder she was in part 1 no matter what.
Her speed is always mentioned as a weakness and as an excuse to undermine her... Big deal, 95% of the shinobi in the manga aren't hyped/feared/reckoned because of their speed.
Speed isn't everything and seems quite overrated to me.
In A, Minato and KCM Naruto cases it matters a lot but its not so relevant when we talk about other like Hidan, Kakashi or Sasuke. They're fast, ok, but can be seen and kept up with.
Hiruzen is other poor bastard. He had a 3 in speed and that didn't stop him from becoming the 3rd man with the title of GoS.

Edit: I would say low-kage level at best because of Katsuyu.
2ndEdit: Also, she's not Choji's mom, her speed might be average but she's a master in evasion, that counts for something.

As for thread, no, she isnt mid Kage level. I would call her low Kage level kunoichi at best, although I guess that high Jounin is more accurate rank for her.

Sakura was able to answer all, or most of the 10 questions during the chunin exams in part 1, which proves that her intelligence, even back then, was superb.That exam was meant to be so difficult that you would need to resort to gathering information from others (basically, cheating) to obtain the answers. Intelligence is one of Sakura's strong skills.

I wouldn't place her in high jounin, but I wouldn't place her kage level either. Sakura is a medical ninja. I'm not going to list all of her achievements, but during the Rescue Gaara arc, she was able to create an antitode to posion that an Akatsuki member created himself. She gained Sasori's praise, and also Chiyo's.

Genin level for Taijutsu

Genin level? My god. If Sakura were to battle a normal genin only using taijustu, she would be arrested for killing the child. I'm not sure if you recognize Omoi's skills, but he seems to be very talented in the taijustu area, maybe it has to due with his fighting style (using swords, lightening etc.) I'll have to explain more later.

So in short, she should be placed in the jounin category, especially considering her skills as of the current chapter.
