Sakura can focuse her Chakra throught out her body to create a force feild of sorts to withstand a blow, Simular to how Neji's rotation works, but much more focused and powerful. And she doesn't have to spin, and this was in base form, while fitting Kido, in his 9th tailed form.

Branches snapped soundly left and right as Sakura was thrown into the further depths of the forest. Had she not used her own chakra as a shield around her body to soften the blow, surely she would be down and out of this battle by now.

Her back smashed in to the trunk of a gigantic old tree, and her momentum finally stopped. Sakura let herself slide down the incline of the trunk, but immediately switched her stance for the counterattack.

“You’ve got guts!” Kido rapidly jabbed his tails. Sakura ducked out of the way of the purple spears attacking her, dodging them by a hair’s breadth and finally weaved her way to be directly in front of Kido’s solar plexus….

And punched him, hard.

The outer skin was rock solid. Sakura felt as if the recoil of the attack itself was about to break her own body to bits. However, Sakura could also feel it in her fist that she had landed a solid hit herself.

As a proof of that, large cracks had formed at the point of impact upon Kido’s chest. Small fragments began to break off and fall.

“What terrifying power you have, to be able to even damage me after I consumed the tailed beast drug. However-,” Kido smirked disconcertingly “I can just restore it back to how it was.” The cracks rapidly mended themselves right before Sakura’s eyes, and looked just as it did before.

She literally said she was a decoy, she was in no danger at all, Why would she make a sheild when she was on the offense, Madara was the one who was on the defense

Im assuming it can be likened to what Kimmaro does with his bone , but Sakura uses chakra,
Or that thing Chiyo uses, It needs to be animated, but because of the way it's written, Nejis rotation, seems simular.
but using Chiyo's sheild, maybe even like a chakra cloak

Sakura also is a sensory type Ninja, and can detect chakra, and when people are under genjutsu. And she sensed Sasuke presence before he teleported away, perhaps her sensory ability came from her byakugou via katsuyu, maybe she can use her power.

Deep within the shadows of the forest, for a split second, she thought saw the silhouette of someone dash by. The silhouette of someone with a long travelling clock and hair wrapped up kind of like a turban.

Sakura suddenly felt like shouting out.

However, in the blink of an eye, the silhouette had gone as quickly as it had appeared.

Sakura strained her eyes and senses, but she couldn’t sense any presence of person or chakra anymore.

And she implied that she can withstand a direct attack from a TBB,
And it hit half of her body in base form and she survived

Kido suddenly opened his mouth wide, and Sakura sensed danger. She realised what Kido appeared to be doing was charge a concentrated chakra beam in his mouth.

This is bad… !

Sakura jumped backwards diagonally, and raised both arms in a cross before her face.

Immediately after, Kido fired the concentrated chakra ball.

It seemed as if the ball had been compressed whilst charging up within Kido’s mouth, for the moment it was fired, the diameter of the ball expanded to around one metre across, and blasted towards Sakura.

Sakura managed to dodge the direct hit, but it still managed to make contact with half her body. Sakura was blasted back through the forest.

Sakura broke through the thick branches of the forest and finally stopped flying when she hit a massive boulder.

She crumpled down on to the floor, and couldn’t stand up immediately. It hurt to breathe.

After ensuring that all of her limbs still worked properly, Sakura stood up.
