But as a person and who I think Naruto should be with its Hinata all the way. No offense to Sakura, but all her affection has been reserved primarily to Sasuke, all the while ignored the one who really cared for her more than anything, who was Naruto.

It's unture that all of Sakura's affection was reserved to Sasuke. She was just as dedicated to Naruto as she was Sasuke. People fail to realise this and choose to ignore this fact. She didn't ignore Naruto the whole entire time.

Where as Hinata's always been there willing to risk it all, expulssion for both her and her entire team from the chunin exams for Naruto.

Do people not understand how selfish to her team that was? Trying to aid someone shouldn't be at the expense of others. Whether its someone you love, a family member or a comrade.
It would be OK if she willing to risk her own chance, but it shouldn't be excused or considered a good thing that she risked expulsion to her whole team. All to help one boy to not "not disappear from here"

and what good did it do Naruto, it caused him to go berserk and become a wild animal before his dad Minato stepped in. If it wasn't for Minato the full kyuubi would have been released right there and then.

The only time Hinata ever did anything reckless was try to stop Pein and she did it out of love....Sakura on the other hand blew herself up when Sasori tried to poison her and tried to stop Naruto when he went into the 4 tailed mode and she did alot more........so if the only reason you say Hinata's reckless was because of that little act of bravery when she tried to save Naruto even though she knew it was a lost cause, then I say yes she is reckless.

You forget also Sakura tried to save Naruto and Sasuke during the chuninn exams, people seem to forget that because they love Hinata to much.

As a ninja and potential then yeah I'd have to go with Sakura only because she spent the over 2 years training personally under one of the legendary Sannin and current hokage...where as Hinata's teachers to whom she's trained under don't even compare by a long shot

also Sakura's been compared to and often mentioned as already on the path to surpassing Tsunade someday...Hinata's never gotten such praise or comparison in the manga yet

and Sakura defeated, or helped defeat an S-rank missing nin and Atakusuki member Sasori...Hinata hasn't been apart of any such victory to her name
