Sakura was never useless. Kishi just never gave her enough pannels to do stuff like that. Her speech was based on protecting Naruto and help him carry the burden he has to deal with. Everyone relies on him to save everyone and in case you all haven't notice, Sakura was always wanting to protect him instead of him protecting her and everyone else. (x So cheers to our pink heroine!

Nope she is not back !. When I see Sakura go head to head in combat and show off some new techs and extreme taijutsu skills for eg the match-up against Sassori in the beginning of shippuden then I'll say she is back until then allow her to do her healing abilities and cling on Naruto for support. I like sakura but she is beginning to annoy me now :dunno:

First real shine given to her since the early portions of Part 2. It's a shame that after the Sai/Sasuke arc that Kishi dropped her from the manga basically. A few slots in the Immortals Arc where she cheered Naruto on, Pain arc took brief control of ordering everyone away from Naruto when he transformed, and useless in the 5 Kage on.

Sakura reminded me a lot of Tsunade in those panels, showing her slow but steady growth that's been developed behind the panels.
