No Sakura is a High Kage level medic, she most likely exceed RIn in everything except chakra, i dont see her not winning against featless Rin, though I'd but Rin as a Jonnin Level Medic. <3

You right, there is no such thing as a tragic character, ust a tragic hero, and Sakura is sort of the opposite, she is a character who's fatal flaw leads to her favor (instead of demise) like a tragic hero.

Rin died at the age of 13, and she wasn't any better than Sakura at that age, Sakura started training with Tsunade at 12 years old, so probably get to be a medic by the time she was 13 too, Tsunade has recognized her as a formidable student.
Rin also never showed any kind of offensive skill, as well as part 1 Sakura...
Rin did became a Chunin at the age of 11 (wikia), but Sakura only failed on her Chunin Exams because of the superiors decided to cut down the numbers of promotions that they would give by making them fight 1 vs 1, making the half of the Shinobis fail regardless how good they were...
Although Sakura wasn't a offensively skilled Kunoichi, she showed talent in genjutsu-breaking, since she was able to break Kabuto's feathers-genjutsu in the Chunnin Exams Arena, and the trick Inzumo and Kotetsu set before the first exam, she has also demonstrated several times how intelligent she is, non of these skills has been shown by Rin, only healing and eye surgery...

PD: The stats could not be fair to compare, Rin was 13 years old when she died, I don't know how old she was when Kishi assign her those stats... Is there anyway to find that out?

Rin's age is unknown by the time the databook was made.
But the wikia said she died when she was 13.

So yes, the stats is a valid point to prove Rin > Sakura part 1.
